Terrapin Station

I had never experienced the outer banks before, and had a fantastic experience here at Terrapin Station! I brought my family and my Aunt's family here for a special vacation and was absolutely thrilled with the accommodations. In addition to my parents, I have 4 siblings and there are 4 people in my Aunt's family as well. All 11 people were quite comfortable and had plenty of space in this enormous house (very important for large families) with room to spare. We used the volleyball court, horseshoe pit, and swimming pool daily. The Crow's next provided phenomenal sunrise/sunset views every day and we had plenty of beach time since it's just a short, 5 minute walk to the ocean from the house. The only day it rained we stayed indoors where my uncle demonstrated his New York City upbringing masterfully on the pool table. We even brought our Wii which was easily hooked up to the television. We opted to cook dinners for each other rather than go out to restaurants and so at night, we would pair off, and 2 different people would prepare the meal. In Food Network Showdown style, everyone tested the limits of their culinary abilities, and we found everything we needed in the huge kitchen for the production. We are definitely going to come back in the future.
