Too Good to be true! Architecturally beautiful and grossly neglected! NOT RECOMMENDED!

The location was good. The water access was across the street not adjacent to the property. No access to Jetted Tub as promised in the ad. Owners were non-responsive when called for clarification or assistance with house issues. Wife was in Colorado, and husband could have cared less about anything. I found the refrigerator so filthy that it was unusable until two of us spent an hour each cleaning it. It smelled of dead fish and there were three dead flies inside. After walking around barefooted for one day I noticed that the bottom of my feet were black with grime, which was disgusting. This necessitated another hour of moping the floors. The outside cooking area was a big disappointment, as w found lights burned out and all surfaces were thick with black grime, the kind that required, yes another hour to clean. The carpets were so filthy that it took a couple of days for me to realize that they were supposed to be light beige, not dark gray/Brown. I wouldn't recommend this to any one looking for the quality promised in the ad.
Owner's Response: The renter is an old man who called every day with a new matter, even before he arrived early and checked out late... he had my husband drive down to turn on a light switch in the back grilling area that he mistook as burned out, he sent a dozen photographs of one fly in the fridge. ( The refrigerator that he spoke of is the beer cooler in the laundry room not the main subzero in the kitchen.) This is a perfect case of grumpy old man just retired syndrome.
You will see that the other reviews are all 5 star. We take great pride in our home and live there when it is not rented. It is beautiful and well maintained. We hope that you will see this review as so far out of the norm that you will understand its falsehood.
