Aruba - Want-a-be !! Waterfront, In & Outdoor Pools, & Fun!

Our family spent a wonderful week and all of our expectations were met and often exceeded. The weather just happened to be perfect; the accomodations were pristine upon arrival and Jim checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The condo was bright, inviting and well equipped, and its location was outstanding visavis the many attractions in the area. My family is athletic so we really enoyed being able to use the amenities of the hotel next door. We visited the workout room daily.
My hats off to Jim and his "Aruba wanna Be." We definitely would rent again and recommend the property to friends and family.

My wife, myself and another couple from Arizona, booked the Aruba Wannabe Condo in June 2012. Jim the owner was fantastic and easy to deal with and met all our needs with a great personality! This was our SECOND Homeaway experience and it was the second glowing success. After our flight to the Gerald Ford airport we rented a car, Jim’s directions were very accurate. This location is super easy to get to, off 96 West to the Grand Haven exit on to 104 directly to the Holiday Inn and the condos. We arrived to find our private parking spot, with a tremendous amount of parking along side the condos for all our guests. Everything was TOP NOTCH. The location is loaded with KILLER restaurants. Food price is very moderate and it's WORTH IT because it's all so good. The unit was SUPER clean when we arrived. It's BETTER than advertised! The views are awesome, neighbors are non-existent and you can really enjoy yourself in this unit, quiet. All the amenities we needed were there. Internet, 3 levels, kids enjoyed the staircase to the 3rd level ( like camping out), THREE flat screens, a great stereo, DVD - though no 1/8" jack input for ipods so bring a 1/8"-to-RCA (red/white) cord if you want to jack in to the stereo. We did! The master bedroom is HUGE HUGE HUGE with a private bath , as the second level. The second level is very roomy with private bath. The kitchen, dining and living room are HUGE and GORGEOUS. Queen pullout in living room and the sofa is GIGANTIC with a nice chaise lounge. Grill on the private deck, but did not use, ate out most of the time, who has time to cook on vacation. The AC works perfectly and hot water lasts forever. We had 9 friends in the unit over the weekend and all had a tremendous time by the pool party locations. We only slept 5 at any given time and there were PLENTY of extra linens / pillows. This unit easily handles 6 if not 7-8 for sleeping. The beach is very close about a 5-8 minute drive, the hot tub and 2 pools were awesome, the pools are great for families, the children really enjoyed themselves other then being in the hot sand at Lake Michigan. Couldn't hear any noise in the unit. At anytime if you are relaxing around the pool and hot tub areas you will see all the large boats going into the big lake or into Spring Lake, so relaxing. Jim offered the use of bikes at a very reasonable & I mean reasonable price, so we did a lot of bike riding also. Overall we TOTALLY recommend this unit for so many reasons. Don't hesitate.

Let me start by saying my family and I enjoy vacationing in differnet areas of the country as much as we can. We have stayed in numerous spots on the Gulf of Mexico, Martha's Vineyard, Vegas, the Carolina's, etc. We enjoy the water, great views, great dining, biking, hiking, swimming, site seeing and all the other things that go with a great vacation. The Aruba - Want-a-be not was not only our FAVORITE vacation spot we have been too, it literally is surrounded with more things to do than you will ever be able to accomplish in one week. The accomodations are absolutely first class and the gentleman we rented from, Jim Rybaski truly BENT OVER BACKWARDS to ensure we had every need met, all the information regarding the area (hot spots to see and visit), and literally took a very personal interest in making sure not only my wife and I were happy but my two daughters as well. Jim invited us to go out on Lake Michigan for a sunset cruise, he was IMMEDIATELY accessible for any questions we had and most importantly was sincerely interested in keeping us happy. We just had the best week! We spent several days at the beaches (which are the best we have ever been too), the indoor/outdoor pools and hot tub, a day at Michigan Adventure Amusement Park, the sand dunes, long early morning walks along the pier, great dinners...we just can't say enough. The only downfall of our entire vacation was this morning when we checked out. The week went WAY too fast but such is life when you are having a great time. There is something in Grand Haven for everybody...no matter what age your age. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this unit and Grand Haven for anybody looking for a great vacation spot that truly makes you feel like you are away from it all. I also HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jim Rybaski as a host at the beginning of the vacation....and a friend by the end of it!
