My husband and I stayed there last year and are still getting over the horror of the stairs to the sleeping area. Liked the cottage overall but, not recommended for anyone who has difficulty with stairs or must get up in the night to use the bathroom. The steps are very narrow and steep. Dangerous!

Owner's Response: We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the cottage overall. Thanks for your feedback. We do try to represent the cottage as accurately as possible to all prospective guests. The stairs, and the cottage in general, are pretty unique. The stairs, while steep indeed, are to code. There is mention of the stairs in the Guest Comments and Reviews on the VRBO page, which we assume are read by future guests when making their final decision on where to stay. We also send photos, and have all interior shots in the listing, as well. We can't think of another way to bring additional attention to the stairs, or any other part of the interior, given the resources from VRBO. We're happy you shared your concerns, as this will hopefully remind those with any difficulties using the steep stairs in future rental decisions. We only wish you would have written your review sooner than 10 months after your stay, as we value all of our guests opinions.
