Your Jackson Hole/Teton Valley Private Mountain Retreat

My family of 4 just returned from our first time staying at Shadows Den. What an awesome property! The pictures are great, but the reality is even better. The house is very large, comfortable and filled with everything you may need. We really enjoyed the shower in the master bath with its "rainfall" and the hot tub in the master bath as well. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. The heated garage is a wonderful plus. Amy the caretaker was wonderful when we had questions too. We had a fabulous time skiing at both Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole. Be sure to have a malt at the maltshop in Victor!

My husband and I recently stayed at Shadows Den and had an amazing time. The house, and views from the house, were absoultely breathtaking. The house was equipped with everything we could have needed and then some. We really enjoyed coming back from a day of skiing and relaxing by the fire or in the hot tub. We loved the privacy of the house and being surrounded by nature and wildlife. One day there was 9 mule deer that decided to hang out in the backyard all afternoon. We had a great time watching the deer. David was so great to work with and very accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone and we already want to start planning our next vacation there!

Absolutely the best place I've ever stayed. Shadow's Den far exceeds the pictures. It's much larger than it appears. Eveything about it was beyond what I expected. The furnishings are top of the line but very comfy. The views were spectacular. I went with 3 friends to celebrate my birthday. When we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty surrounding us. The Aspens were changing colors. They looked like they were candles lit up for my birthday. Although the cabin is secluded in the woods at the top of the mountain, you can sit on the porches and look down on the valley through the trees. The location was perfect for visiting several National Parks. The Grand Tetons were breathtaking. Everything seems just a short drive away. We went water rafting on the Snake River. We took the Arial Tram in Teton Village to the top of the mountain for waffles and incredible views. Went through Jackson Hole to Jenny Lake for a day of hiking and picnicing. We went to Yellowstone National Park from Victor up Hwy 20 to the north entrance of Yellowstone which avoided much of the traffic heading to the south entrance. There's a loop that took us to the Mesa Falls (truly spectacular). We spent 2 days doing Yellowstone. Funny thing, animals were everywhere we went, not just Yellowstone. They were even in the yard of our cabin. I say our cabin, because from the moment we walked in it felt like home. Of all the mountains, streams, tourist shops and animals we saw, I think the environment at the cabin was our favorite. We sat by the fireplaces, cooked on the barbque and ate on the deck, played pool by the bar. The hot tub was right off the bottom deck. The last night we made smores at the firepit until we were sticky from the marshmallows and slap happy from the best time any of us had ever had. You really must go! You won't be disappointed. I know I'll be back with my family so they can experience everything I did at Shadow's Den. Thanks David and Debbie!
