CAMDEN INTOWN RESTORED 1820S CAPE

Camden House Rental Photos and Description

Comfortable cape just 2 blocks from downtown Camden

Camden is rich in water features. We've got ocean, lakes, and a river. Rocinante is on the river side of town. On a quiet night you may even be able to hear the nearby falls. This charming house is conveniently located two blocks from the center of town, one block from restaurants and shops and the bountiful Camden Farmer's Market.

Style:

Newly restored 1820's Cape with the perfect balance of charm and modern convenience. The house has many of its original charming features such as chestnut floors, plank doors and hardware.

First Floor:

Enter into the sun porch with white-washed bead-board walls and ceiling into the brand new bright and open kitchen featuring granite counters and a large peninsula. Off the left side of the kitchen is a laundry nook which leads to a large mudroom and the back deck. Off the far right of the kitchen are stairs to the second floor. Please note these stairs are steep and open on one side. Off the immediate right side of the kitchen is the spacious dining room with original chestnut floors. The first floor bath is off the left side of the dining room. This bath has a claw-foot tub and hand-held shower, and black slate walls. Next is a door to the first floor bedroom which has a queen bed. Pass through the dining room through a small hallway into the living room with TV alcove at the far end. You can also enter the first floor bedroom from the alcove. In the hallway between the dining and living room is a set of very narrow and steep stairs which lead to the second floor.

Second Floor:

At the top of the front stairs you arrive into a hallway, the door to a bathroom with granite counters and tiled shower is before you. To the right is the master bedroom with king bed. To the left is a large open office space with built-in desk and drawers. Continue down the hall, on the left is a bedroom with double bed, straight ahead is another bedroom with 2 twin beds and on the right are stairs leading down to the kitchen.
