Hemlock House is located on Megunticook Lake in Lincolnville on a 13 acre private lot with 850 feet of lake frontage. A ten minute drive to all of the amenities downtown Camden has to offer, yet a peaceful setting with numerous onsite activities. Located down a private road with circular driveway with ample parking. This serene setting includes an enormous backyard, partially grassed, partially wooded with trails, rocks, and gardens. There is a fire pit, large dock and swim float with diving board, and a boat house with sleeping for two at waters edge. For additional water fun there is a canoe, 1 kayak, and comfortable dock furniture to sit and enjoy the fantastic view of the Camden Hills from the dock of Hemlock House.
Hemlock House is an A-frame contemporary with walls of windows and classic, comfortable furnishings. The large, light-filled kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and entertaining with a peninsula with seating for four and a table with seating for four. A formal dining room is off of the kitchen with seating for six. The living room has soaring cathedral ceilings and windows, book filled shelves, a game table and doors to the spacious deck. The deck includes outdoor sitting and dining furniture. There is a half bath on the first floor. The master suite with en suite full bathroom is also on the first floor.
A large wooden circular stairway leads to the second floor. There are two bedrooms on the second floor, one with queen size bed and one with two twin beds. The second floor is complete with a full bathroom.
The finished lower level of the house includes a camp style bunk room with five beds and foot lockers for each bed. For entertainment there is a ping pong table. There is also a spacious bathroom in the basement and french doors leading to the backyard.
