Pondfield is one of few properties that can boast being in Camden, on Megunticook Lake, and able to accommodate fifteen people. Located on a large (6 acre), private setting with no visible neighbors from the house, Pondfield has lovely gardens, sloping fields, old rock walls, views of the Camden Hills, and Megunticook Lake frontage. A brook runs along one side of the property. A walk down the field leads to both sandy access to Megunticook Lake and a dock for sunning and swimming. Across the lake is Fernald's Neck preserve and views of Maiden's Cliff and the Camden Hills range. Pondfield sleeps fifteen (with cots that can be added for two additional people - inquire for more information) with ample room for comfortable living for all. Built to accommodate large groups there are two distinct homes (separated by a lockable door) within this large house, to allow for privacy when desired and shared space when preferred. Ideal guests for this property would be multigenerational families or friends vacationing together. Pondfield is a five minute drive to all of the amenities downtown Camden has to offer, and a twenty minute drive to Rockland to the south and Belfast to the north.
