This one bedroom one bath condo is part of the High Chalet Condominiums. High Chalet Condominiums is a panoramic mountain resort featuring awesome views. The complex overlooks the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort, Ober Gatlinburg Tramway and Mt. LeConte. It is minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park. Enjoy the majesty, tranquility and beauty of the Smoky Mountains. Balcony overlooks Ober Gatlinburg ski area. This condo is centrally located to all of the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge attractions. So many activities to enjoy....whitewater rafting, Dollywood Theme Park, horseback riding, river tubing, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies....and the list goes on. Wood burning fireplace (wood provided in season). Bedroom has queen size bed. Sleeper sofa in the living room. No Smoking...No pets... Please.

Amenities: Amenities: Full kitchen, cable TV, outdoor heated pool, condo is located on the 2nd floor, laundry facilities are a few steps away. Activities: There's something to do and enjoy year round. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the smoky mountains. Before you go up our mountain (10 -12 minute drive), there is a gas station, a Kentucky Fried Chicken, a small market. As you go up the mountain, they have recently opened up a restaurant and mini market 'Mojitos'. Our favorite things to do in Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains: 1. Ride the scenic chair lift at Ober Gatlinburg. 2. Visit the Smoky Mountain National Park and take a hike to Ogle's Place or Laurel Falls.

Cozy getaway with lots to do and see nearby

We loved our week at this cozy mountain retreat and would definitely return. From the indoor fireplace to the outdoor jacuzzi and everything in between we enjoyed and savored every minute of our
stay. The hikes to the waterfalls were exhilirating and awesome. We have fantastic pictures and the memories will last forever.

Gatlinburg is quaint, beautiful and always bustling with activity; and
the Smoky Mountains are breathtaking. There are many natural and manmade attractions to experience within short traveling distances. The dining was fabulous and the shopping unique.

We found the location to be ideal because it was not too close to the hustle and bustle, but close enough to be convenient. The place was clean and properly maintained and the service was warm, friendly, and responsive to our needs.

This was definitely one of our greatest vacation getaways, and not only would we recommend it to friends and family, but we hope to return soon since there was not enought time to capture it all.

Nice Condo

We just returned from our trip, we stayed at Barbara's condo for a week and had a great time! We were even surprised by the first snow of the season in October and a Bears in the area!

Barbara is very helpful and nice to work with, gave exact detail of the condo. Area is very quiet and very nice. We hope to come back again.

Very nice. Peaceful and quiet. Nice accomodations away from the noise of downtown. Up the mountian. Very accurate description of condo. Very clean. Would recommend to a friend. Travel up the mountian could be a challenge in the winter with bad weather.

This condo was very clean. Barbara was wonderful to work with and a great communicator. We loved the attention to detail (dishes set on table, etc.). Flat screen TV in bedroom was really nice. We enjoyed the balcony off the bedroom and would often see wildlife. We saw an older bear cub several times, but he didn't bother anyone. The pool area was nice. They just got 2 new hot tubs, but they weren't working yet. The condo was located on a mountain so finding it in the dark wasn't easy, but during the day we had no troubles, especially after Barbara told us the trick (when to turn right and when to turn left!). We had never visited this area before and there was so much to do. We hope to come back some day to see everything we missed.
