Located on Lighthouse Point near the famous Tybee Island Lighthouse you have a 270 degree view of the ocean with Hilton Head, Draufuskie, and Fripp Islands in view. There are no structures blocking your view as the land beside this condo is owned by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources for bird and turtle nesting. There are not many places existing like this one where you can see water from every room. With a beach that is growing and building sand dunes, you have a unique setting of sea, sand, and sea oats to surround you. Located inside the old Fort Scriven, you will be in the most exclusive area of the island surrounded by new million dollar homes. This is a quiet part of the beach ideal for relaxation. The complex is gated and has 2 large swimming pools, baby pool, play ground and lighted tennis courts. There are queen sized beds in the Master bedroom and the guest bedroom along with a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room. For 270 degree view, see website below.

There is a balcony with two sliding glass doors, one from the living room and the other from the Master bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. Also, a new washer and dryer are in the unit. Amenities: High speed Internet, Phone, Air Conditioning, Cable TV, Full Kitchen, Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Cooking Utensils provided, Linens provided, Washer, Dryer, Gated Entry, Parking, Dedicated Parking Space, No Smoking or Pets please. Also, there are two adult pools and one pool for kids. Two grills are located on the complex plus picnic tables.

Our vacation on Tybee Island was more than expected. The condo was ideal on many levels. You get to start each morning with a great view of the sunrise out of you bed and it only gets better. The condo is well furnished and clean and no problems. The location is central for any daytrips and for restaurants for evenings.
We had a very relaxing time and would love to come back and would absolutely recomment this property to friends.

wonderful place to stay

We stayed at this condo at the beginning of August 2008. We had a wonderful time. It has an excellent view. It was up several flights of stairs with no elevator, but it was certainly worth it.

Awesome view

The condo was clean, fresh smelling and very spacious. The location was about as remote as you can get on Tybee which means we had some privacy and still were 5 minutes from downtown. SInce it is located on the point, it was quite windy which kept the temperature very comfortable.
Recommended for:  Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Fantastic view and location!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The view just couldn't be beat. We loved watching all of the big ships passing so close by- beautiful!

The rental staff was very friendly and courteous, the owner very gracious and quick to respond.

We should have asked what floor it was on! I am on oxygen and it was quite a climb up those steps to the third floor. What a work out!

Our favorite restaurant was the Dawghouse Grille. What a great place and food! We also went to the Crab Shack where our 14yr old fed the alligators and enjoyed a carriage tour of Historic Savannah. But mostly we stayed at the beach where we could hardly get our son out of the water.

Our only negative comment would be that the condo could really use some upgrading. It really shows some wear, but all in all we were very pleased with our stay and are enjoying the pictures taken of the breathtaking view!
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers

Just completed our stay here....the entire experience was wonderful - from the moment we made reservations to the final day of our stay. If you want a vacation where you can have beautiful scenery literally right outside your door; clean and comfortable accomodations, friendly "locals', serenity or partying, I highly recommend 270 Degree Ocean View.

This place "rocks"!
