We had such a great time at this condo! It was immaculately clean and spacious enough for our party of six (mom, dad, 10-year-old, 6-year-old, grandma and aunt). It was beautiful on the inside and out! We could see the ocean from the front door and had beautiful views from the balcony as well (including dolphins swimming in the harbor!).
We were only a short walk from the ocean and made good use of the cart, towels, swimming pool and many other amenities available. We loved swimming in the ocean and explore St. Pete as well (the sand is better at Clearwater).
The owner was accomodating to our scheduling request and great when we got ourselves into a predicament (locked ourselve out-oops!).
While we were there, we really enjoyed Palm Pavilion, where we enjoyed live music, beautiful sunsets on the patio and great food (burgers and grouper sandwiches were among our faves-we went three times!). We attempted parasailing two times at Clearwater Parasail and were really unhappy with their service, so check a different company if you want to do that activity. The vendors were really friendly at Sunset on Pier 60, and there were some unique booths.
We also drove about 40 minutes to Tampa and spent a day at Busch Gardens, which was great for the animals and the roller coasters!
We also went to Caladesi Island (part of Honeymoon Island). My kids were nervous as we received warnings about snakes in the park and stingrays in the water. The water was "seaweedy," which we didn't like, but it's a great place to collect shells. Also, there were biting gnats at the waiting area for the ferry, which was not fun!
Despite one dissapointing afternoon there, we had a great vacation and really enjoyed the condo and the area we stayed in.
I've already told several people that they should look into this location if they want to vacation down in FL. We would definitely return in the future!
