We are Deb and John Light from Colchester, Vermont. We bought our Village condo new in 2007, and together with our two daughters have enjoyed many fun and memorable times at Jay Peak! We love to help our guests have fun at Jay too, and provide them with a cozy and comfortable 'home away from home' slope side.
After skiing over the years at several other ski areas in Vermont, we discovered Jay Peak and fell in love with the atmosphere, the terrain at the mountain and the huge amounts of snow that Jay Peak always seems to get. There are glades all over the mountain -- from incredibly steep and deep areas that the locals know about and we are still discovering, to the beautiful, more mellow treed trails that our kids love to ski. Jay Peak really is a special place, and it's getting better every year with the addition of amenities like the Pumphouse Water Park, Ice Haus indoor skating rink, Taiga Spa, Championship Golf and Nordic Ski Center, and many truly great restaurants.
You can't beat the location of the condo -- it is so easy to be on the first lift, come in and out for lunch or to warm up your boots and have some hot chocolate. Once you stay slopeside, you won't want to stay anywhere else!
