The house has been decorated by a professional decorator, and designed to handle large groups and multiple families. It is suitable for overnight meetings where presentations can be made using a computer with large screen projection and sound system in the great room (combination living/dining/kitchen), which can seat up to 30 people. If you are looking for a quiet place that is comfortable, situated in a small resort town up in the mountains, and can handle a lot of people, this is a great deal and may very well meet your needs. We cater to church retreats, church youth groups, spiritual retreats, prayer retreats, missionary executive meetings, and business planning meetings among many others.
We have had many family groups and family reunions come enjoy the Beech Mountain Lodge. The Lodge has seven bedrooms and three bathrooms accommodating 20+ guests. There are four queen-sized bedrooms, three bunk-rooms, and two loft attics. The baths are divided into five private bath facilities. Here is the detailed sleeping arrangements:

This home owner requests that unmarried men and women sleep in different rooms. There are a lot of sleeping options, so this shouldn`t be a problem, so please note the following:

- The Main Floor has:
- 1 bedroom with a QUEEN sized bed (5 feet x 6.5 feet) (Sleeps 2)
- 1 bedroom with a QUEEN sized bed (5 feet x 6.5 feet) (Sleeps 2)
- A full bathroom.
- The Second Floor has:
- 1 bedroom with a QUEEN sized bed (5 feet x 6.5 feet), with a loft/attic (Room sleeps 2, loft can be used for sleeping if desired)
- 1 bedroom with a QUEEN sized bed (5 feet x 6.5 feet) (Sleeps 2)
- 1 bedroom with 3 bunk beds, with a loft/attic (Room sleeps 6, loft can be used for sleeping if desired)
- 1 bedroom with 3 bunks beds (Sleeps 6)
- 1 bedroom with 3 bunk beds (Sleeps 6)
- Family room with full sized futon (Sleeps 2)
- 2 Full bathrooms that are separated such that 4 people can use one part of those bathrooms privately.

Home is priced for group of up to 20 people. Any number over 20 will be charged an additional $17 per person per night. If you are a small group or single family, please let us know if pricing is an issue, as we would also like to try to meet your budget, if possible.

The large stone fireplace has seating for a large group, so that families can enjoy being together .
The seven (7) foot media screen with surround sound system allows you to connect your digital camera and/or computer and watch the days activities in almost life size. You can also watch DVD movies, VHS videos, and we have the very popular Wii game console hooked directly to the large screen and sound system. You can also hook an iPod to the system to listen to music and/or watch movies from your own iPod. Anything on your computer you can present on the large screen and through the media system.
The kitchen is large and spacious with lots of counter-top space. One person who does a lot of work in kitchens recently said, 'I love this kitchen. Look at all the counter space!' We have hosted a number of large groups for parties and it has worked very well.
The kitchen is also designed so that those working in the kitchen can talk with those sitting in the living room by the fireplace, so they don't feel left out of conversations.
The dining room, which is part of the great room, seats 14 at the dining table, and an additional three at the kitchen island if desired.
We have wireless high-speed family friendly Internet service, and you can bring your own computer and connect to the large screen surround sound media system, and project all media from your computer through the projector and speakers. We do not have satellite or cable TV as we rely on the Internet as our primary media feed, so bring a computer and you can hook up and see everything through the large screen and surround sound system.
