Our area has something for everyone. The main attraction of course is Lake Michigan with it's 200 foot high sand dunes spectacular sunrises, sunsets & singing sand beaches. (20 minute hike from the house)
Our home is across the street from Little Black Lake but we own 100 feet of private access to the lake. Walk down our dock and use either our,canoe, kayaks or row boat. They are all included in the rental price. Take a hike through Hoffmaster Park or ride our bikes on the Spring Lake bike path which begins just 1/2 mile from our rental.
You'll feel like you're 'away from it all' but restaurants, shopping centers and fun activities for the whole family are just minutes away.
Although Little Black Lake is a shallow weedy lake, the water quality is excellent. It is wonderful for kayaking, canoeing and fishing. Powerboats are not allowed on Little Black Lake. Also, for swimming we recommend going to one of the beautiful Lake Michigan beaches in our area

Golf: Oak ridge golf course is a great public course about 1 mile from the rental. It is well established, very beautiful and challenging. Other courses to check out are Stone Gate, Grand Haven Country Club, Muskegon Country Club. All within 10 miles.
Ski: The cross country skiing is wonderful in Hoffmaster State Park
