  • Summer 2010 (June 27-Labor Day September 6): $1,750/week. One week minimum stay during summer season. Reserve in 2009 for summer of 2010 and receive 10% off! September 7 through June 26 rates: $1100.00 per week, 225.00 per night with a two night minimum, and $2200.00 monthly. A signed Rental Agreement along with a 50% deposit is required to secure a reservation. The balance (plus 6% use tax) is due upon arrival. Check-in after 4:00pm; check-out by 11:00am (may be negotiable in the off-season).

First Family Vacation

If you know TC or even if you don't...this is THE place to rent. Paul was a wonderful host and the quality of his work in the house is simply stunning. We lived (and met) in TC in the mid-90s and we now live in Philadelphia, but we return every year. Now we have our first child and Paul saw to it that we not only had a crib for her, but also a pack-n-play. She slept like an angel every night in her cozy bed. She LOVED crawling around the spacious house! Having a full and VERY modern kitchen was great. When the baby went to bed, we cooked, drank wine, listened to the amazing sound system and the baby couldn't hear a thing! During the days, we walked all over...took coffee to the beach on the cold crisp sunny mornings, and spent hours strolling through downtown TC...EVERYTHING is in walking distance! We hope to rent this place again and again. It was perfect and cozy for our fall trip. Oh, yeah...and while the baby didn't much like the shower (she was MUCH happier in the kitchen sink), we certainly loved it. It was tough returning to our home with only one shower head! We left feeling cozy, relaxed and spoiled that we got to stay in a home that is far more beautiful than our own.

Stunning showhome property - beautifully designed and spotlessly clean with absolutely everything we needed. Fantastic kitchen, steam-shower, wifi and music system. Downtown shops, eateries and beaches are all within easy walking distance. Paul was a great host and provided helpful tips for our stay - the Right Brain Brewery was great! Just sorry that we couldn't stay longer. Very highly recommended!

Dream house getaway with all the right touches

My friends and I found this house to be the absolute best part of our girls weekend in Traverse City.

When we arrived we found that we were not willing to stick to our outing schedule as we poured over every detail of the fine craftsmanship of the house. We all found things that we would love to incorporate into our own homes. The house seems to speak comfort and class without shouting.

Top awards for the steam shower! Spending our time here in Traverse City during a blizzard was remarkably easy once you had a turn in the steam! My marrow still melts thinking about it.

I'm looking forward to coming back with my family next time.

I can't express how much we loved it here. Hands down the most inviting home I've ever stayed in during travel, and our hosts couldn't have been better. I especially loved being in walking distance of down town (though I confess I'm quite a walker) and look forward to a return in the summer since the beach is only a block or two away.

Totally worth it!

We had a great time staying in this home. The location was perfect...within walking distance to downtown and a short drive to many attractions. A beautiful home to stay in while visiting a beautiful part of the country. We will definitely be back.

Artisan Retreat - Fantastic House!

This is a stunningly beautiful house. The woodwork is not to be believed, and the stone work in the shower and fireplace is also astounding. The shower is an experience in itself -- four separately controllable shower sprays and it's a steam room as well. Extremely comfortable and practical furniture. The house was spotless and well-stocked with everything one could need. The owner was very helpful and available if needed, but respected our privacy as well. The patio in back was a great place for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. Proximity to everything was great, with the lake only a couple of blocks away and a great historic tavern with marvelous food only a block away. Nearby Division Street is quite a thoroughfare, but the house is designed to block noise from that direction. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house.
