We are now booking for Spring/Summer 2014

Our cottage is in the FRONT SECTION of Flora Dale Resort. This means you are right by the pool, short walk to the beachfront and steps away to all the other amenities. No driving needed to get to any amenities.

Cottage is just steps away from the large heated pool, clubhouse with ping pong, tennis, shuffleboard, horse shoe pits, tether ball and more. A very short walk to the shared 400' sandy beachfront. You will have a private yard, fire pit, picnic table, lawn furniture, plenty of parking.

Amenities:

Fully equipped kitchen, full size washer/dryer, TV/VCR/DVD, shuffle board, tennis court, horse shoes, large heated pool , 400' of shared Silver Lake frontage with-in walking distance from cottage, grocery store 1/2 mile down the road as well as ice cream shops, shopping, boat rentals, go carts, bumper boats.

Public entrance to 1,500 acres of Silver Lake Sand Dunes only minutes away.

  • We have 4 cottages to choose from and can accommodate up to groups of 45 Our Bunk Cottage sleeps up to 8 in the 3 bedroom cottage and you get an additional guest unit with the 3 bedroom that sleeps up to 4 Both units are connected together by a patio area and always rent together as one large unit for $1975 per week. Our 4 bedroom sleeps up to 11 Our 5 bedroom sleeps up to 12 Our other 3 bedroom sleeps up to 8 private and there is also a queen pull out sofa. Early June and late August weeks are much less. AC only in the 5 bdrm All Cottages are by the heated pool and a short walk to the beachfront.

Absolutely Wonderful!

We stayed in the 4 bedroom home and absolutely loved every minute of our vacation. My husband and I have two small children and my parents and sister and her boyfriend also came and stayed in the house. It was the perfect place for us with kids because we had a private swingset and sandbox in the front yard. The house is more than a cottage and has every amenity you will need and more. The property was sparkling clean and very well maintained. There is so much to do in the Silver Lake area and we were never bored. And although Silver Lake is a bustling vacation spot the Flora Dale community is private and you are able to just sit on the porch of the house and relax. We loved the options of the pool in the community or walking to the beach, and we even went to the beach at Lake Michigan one day since it is just down the road. We didn't want our vacation to end and immediately told Bonnie to take our security deposit and use it to book us for next summer. We highly recommend the Beach Blast Cottages and we are looking forward to going again next summer. It can't come soon enough!

Great house for family vacation. Clean, open and nicely decorated. Kitchenette in basement was nice addition. Beautiful view of dunes and lake in the distance. Associations heated pool was great along with shuffle board, basketball, horseshoes, tennis and ping pong. Dunes were very impressive. We would definately stay here again. Owners other properties would make this perfect for large family gathering. In my haste, it did not register that we needed to BRING our own SHEETS and it does NOT have A/C. However, basement was very cold and fan was great for sending cold air upstairs. We were very comfortable.

We rented dune bugges and road on the dunes, we had a great time. My family is 11 adults and two little ones all had the same excellent time.
