The owners live in West Virginia but have relatives close to the camp in Maine. The camp renting process is handled by a local relative.
Besides having relatives in the area, we love the scenery of Northern Maine and the friendliness of the people who live there.
The area is well-known for its winter activities of snowmobiling, ice fishing and cross country skiing. The fall is absolutely beautiful. Summer on the lake is a great time for swimming, water skiing, fishing, sailing, canoeing and wildlife viewing. For several years, there have been resident families of loons which are beautiful to see and hear.
