Fantastic 3 Bedroom House with Private Pool in Punta Sur- Great for Families

We just got back from a stay at Vive Con Fe and LOVED the house. It was my husband and I, our two boys (ages 1 and 3) and our babysitter and it suited our needs perfectly. The house was very clean and cheery with amazing views of the Caribbean across the street. I loved waking up every morning to that view! The house itself is beautiful - every day people would walk or drive by and point or comment on the house. The pool and patio were wonderful with both sun and shade options and lots of seating. The kitchen was well-equipped. It has a washer and dryer which were much appreciated. It also has a large flat-screen, DVD player, and wi-fi, which was great. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was great but in January we really didn't need it - we just left the windows open and there was always a breeze. It's a little bit of a trek from the downtown area, but therefore very quiet and peaceful. We drove to Playa Norte or downtown every day, sometimes twice a day in the golf-cart and I didn't mind the drive at all - especially since you are viewing amazing views of the Caribbean as you go!

Its actually very close the Mayan ruins (walking distance) on the south end, and walking distance to Garrafon. You can also walk along the Caribbean on a path across the street from the house, you just can't swim there. For me, it was the perfect house and perfect location and I would definitely return. There was an issue with the crib not being there at first but Kyra responded very quickly to our emails and was able to get one to us.

This house would also be fun for a group of adults partying - with the awesome rooftop bar. Also since it is on the south end of the island you are closer to some of the great places that way, such as Playa Lancheros and the Mango Cafe (go there for breakfast!!!!)

I would have no hesitations about recommending this house to others and would love to stay there again one day!

This wonderful house is situated on the east end of Isla Mujeres. It is very quiet, and just after 5 minute drive on the golf cart, you are already in a little pueblo with local life and a modern supermarket. If you drive to the other side of the island (also 5 minutes) you find lots of exciting beaches and nice mexican food. 3 minutes drive to the east is the far end of the island, which consist of a small national park. This is the place, where the first sun hit Mexico in the morning!
The house is well equipped, but we missed a dishwasher. The rooftop is wonderful!
So is the pool area with outdoor shower, sofa and a nice grill, that operate on gas.
The house is perfect for 6 people, but we were 4 adult and 4 children with 2 of them sleeping in the living room. That was okay.
Isla Mujeres is wonderfull and so are the local people! We would love to return!!
