About Jim Blandford
It has always been our dream to have a beach home. We live in Virginia and do not mind the 3 to 4 hour trip to our cottage even if it is just for the weekend. For 6 years we reserved the home for our friends and family and have enjoyed every moment. We feel it is a good time to let others experience what we have come to love. We especially love going to the beach around 5 PM with our cooler when it is a little less crowded and a little less hot.
Jim Blandford purchased this cottage in 2004
Why Jim Blandford chose Nags Head
We love the location of this cottage because of its convenience to a grocery store restaurants and shopping. The Villages of Nags Head has its own private roads which make exercising a breeze with its flat terrain for walking, running or biking. We also love Nags Head area for its ocean, beaches and the benefit of the Sound. The Outer Banks of North Carolina is still a small area where you can have a great conversation with strangers who are permanent residents or vacationers who have been coming to the Outer Banks for years. Like other Ocean areas, there is great seafood either at the local markets or at the many great restaurants.
