When you stay in our modern and luxurious two-story beach home, you will be within steps of beautiful Mission Beach and Mission Bay. Entering from the large private patio on the ground floor, you enter the bright and airy first level which includes the living room, dining room, kitchen and 1/2 bath. French doors open to the patio to blend the indoors with the outdoors. Amenities include flat screen TV with surround sound and digital cable, DVD / CD, DSL, fireplace, GE Profile stainless appliances, granite counter tops, travertine floors, washer and dryer in the tandem garage. Built-in gas BBQ located on the patio. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Queen beds in master bedroom and guest bedroom. Kids' bedroom has bunk bed - twin on top, full below plus a twin trundle. Ideal for up to 4 adults and 3-4 children. Bathrooms include rain showers; the master bath has jacuzzi tub and two sinks. Kids' amenities include house and beach toys.

Best Beach Rental!

We stayed for seven days in this wonderful Mission Beach rental home. The best part was that the house didn't feel like a rental! The owners have thought of everything and provide you with all of the necessary items to make your beach vacation memorable. From coffee maker to kites, there wasn't one thing this home was lacking! Our daughter loved the beach toys and the children's toys that are in the "kid's bedroom." The home had plenty of room for our extended-family get-away and was just the right mix of upscale beach charm. We felt at home immediately and were so glad that we chose this rental for our vacation.

The owners handled all of our inquiries quickly and professionally. The owners have prepared detailed information about the home (how to use the CD player, light the gas grill, etc) and the San Diego area for guests to use. We found this to be especially helpful and considerate. This home is nestled on a private court that is just steps from the sand, yet it is away from the bustle of the boardwalk . There are lots of shops and eateries within walking distance.

The only bad part about this property is that we had to leave! Our family is already looking forward to the next time we can rent this fabulous beach home!

Escaping the Heat of Vegas

My family (my husband and our 18 month old at the time son) and a good friend's family (2 and 4 year old boys) decided to escape the Las Vegas heat and head to the beach in San Diego. When we arrived at the beach house we immediately fell in love. The location could not have been better with easy access to the beach and tons of shopping and dining.

It immediately felt like home to us with all of the beach toys and kid toys availalable, we could have left everything for our little guy at home and he would have been just fine. The boys had a great time playing on the beach while the adults enjoyed the patio BBQ and cocktails at sunset. You could not ask for a more beautiful home to vacation. We did not want to leave.

I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who is looking for a home away from home. Looking forward to returning next summer!

We feel very fortunate to have stayed at this Mission Beach home. This home has everything. It's beautifully furnished with every amenity plus a GREAT location!

Arriving from outside California you have a pleasant drive of less than 20 minutes from San Diego Int'l Airport. Access to the home is a breeze... the secure entry system allows immediate entry on your schedule. Go inside, drop your suitcases and start your vacation. The home is fully stocked with more than your basic needs.You'll be amazed as to what the owners have thoughtfully provided for you. Just as we had hoped we were steps away from the beach, restaurants, water sports and rentals. If you can tear yourself away, then San Diego and attractions are a short easy drive from the home.

Another guest's comments indicated that they were a family with young children. Our family included our sons who are in their twenties and their friends. No reservations -- a great time was had by all!
