Create memories to last a lifetime! The Saugatuck/Douglas area offers numerous summer activities. Cabin is located 1 block from Douglas Public beach to enjoy swimming, sunning and spectacular sunsets. Cabin is located on a large lot surrounded by mature pine trees. The cottage is furnished and contains a fully equip (with microwave) kitchen. A huge screened in porch is a wonderful nighttime gathering place to enjoy a barbecues after a long day relaxing at the beach. Barbecue grill is located in back yard. Firepit available. Bath w/shower, First bedroom contains a queen size bed; Second bedroom contains two twin beds. Futon in living room.

Our Cabin is located in the quite cottage area of Douglas, at the corner of May and Center Streets. It is a short easy walk to Douglas Beach. The more tourist Saugatuck area is a short 5 minute drive away.

  • Payments: Personal Check or Money Order equal to 50% of the rental fee is required within five days confirming your reservation.
    Upon receipt of your payment a confirmation via email or postal letter will be sent.
    Final payment including the security payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.
    Upon receipt of your final payment a final confirmation showing you are paid in full will be sent showing you are paid in full with detailed check in instructions and directions.
    A security deposit in the amt. of 150.00 is required and will be refunded by mail within 30 days of departure provided no excessive damages or cleaning charges to be deducted.

We rented here in July 2009 with our three kids ages 9-3. With the futon, two twin beds and queen we were all comfortable. The cabin is rustic in a very charming way. The neighborhood is quiet with lots of families on bikes and walking to the beach. There is an air conditioner but the cabin is so shaded and cool we kept the windows open to catch a breeze and hear the birds. We walked to the beach everyday and think we will bring a small rolling cart next time for the beach chairs. Even a short trip with those can be a burden! And it is a short trip to Douglas beach which is small but great for kids. It never seemed crowded and I never lost sight of the kids. Very relaxing for a mom of three. We went to the farmers market,climbed Mt. Baldy,played in the dunes at Oval beach (kid fave) and ate our weight in ice cream in downtown Saugatuck. The kids keep talking about going back to the cabin and seeing more sunsets. We reassure them that we will definitely be back next year. From the prompt replies to my initial inquiries, to the forgotten shoe that was sent after we got home and everything in between we were well taken care of.

This was a great cabin. It was very clean! The beach was easy access and only 1 block away. The screened in porch was a great place to enjoy meals with our family.

We saw deer in the back yard. We were only 3 hours from home but everything was so peaceful it seemed liked we were a million miles away -

Everything was "as promised" by the owner and she was very accomodating to some last minute changes.

We would be sure to recommend this cabin to friends.
