Tuscany:
Tuscany is one of the most renown regions in Italy, full of art, history, and breathtaking landscapes. Besides Florence, considered one of the most beautiful towns in the world, places of great interest are: Siena, Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano, the Chianti Area, with its vineyards and olive groves, the Lunigiana area, the Tuscan Riviera, and many more.
The area:
Ponte Vecchio: the Old Bridge in itself is worth a trip to Florence, but also Palazzo Pitti, Boboli Gardens, Santo Spirito, gli Uffizzi and Piazza della Signoria are extremely close to the apartment. Besides, restaurants, shops, groceries, cinemas, theatres, and anything you may need during your stay, are right there.

We stayed at Tra Due Ponti in early March 2008. We found the apartment to be everything and more that was advertised. It was quiet, very clean, updated, modern, and comfortable. The views out the window onto the Arno are fabulous. It is right off a bus stop for easy transportation and close to all the major sights and some great restaurants. Allesandra was more than helpful in all aspects of us enjoying Florence. We have fallen in love with Florence, and when we return, we will definitely stay again at Tra Due Ponti. February 2008. My husband and I spent 6 days at the apartment recently to celebrate a wedding anniversary. It would be difficult to find a more romantic spot in Florence, with the Ponte Vecchio bridge almost within touch, through the apartment windows. Alessandra, who was there to greet us, was totally charming and full of helpful information. Jean Seery, United Kingdom (jean@jeanseery99.wanadoo.co.uk)
