Wildlife - The deer tend to come out and feed at dusk.

The dolphin (often in pods of 10+) are best seen at low tide from the clubhouse. Loggerhead turtles nest on the beaches with thousands of hatchlings each year. Alligator are found in many of the lagoons. If you are lucky, you may see one of the island's bobcats. Of course, fishing in the lagoons and ocean, and crabbing off the crab dock is always fun. Off Island - Historic Charleston is only a 35 minute drive away with some of the best restaurants, cultural entertainment, and historic sites in the Southeast. Kiawah Island is just a few minutes drive from Seabrook with 5 world class golf courses and more restaurants. Historic Savannah and Hilton Head are close and make great day trips. Bohicket Marina is just outside the Seabrook gate with more restaurants, shops, and boat rentals. Fresh Farms just outside the Seabrook gate provides upscale shopping, farm fresh produce, and more restaurants.
