It’s breathtaking summer or winter. This place is perfect for a winter reading and writing hideaway or family get-a-way. It was stated earlier, but bears repeating. This place was recently remodeled to green building standards. Our NO PETS/NO SMOKING policies are not negotiable. Don't take it personally. We are trying to keep the place habitable for people with allergy or chemical sensitivities. We also clean with non-toxic cleaning products. We also request respect for peace and quiet. It is a rural area, but our home in nearby and sound travel far in quiet rural settings. No loud music, fireworks etc.
Amenities:: Wireless internet, TV w/DVD, canoe, sandbox with toys, sauna (upon request). We live on the same acreage so we've got bikes, strollers and other children hardware if needed. There's no cable and land line phone. You may get cell service depending on your service provider.
Guest Book: First and foremost our visit was truly one of the best vacations. We hiked, kayaked, climbed the dunes, pontooned on Glen Lake, embraced the sights and sounds of all of our favorite beaches, filled our lungs with the scent of pine, marvelled at the shade of blue from Glen Lake atop the sand dunes, waved at South Manitou Island, and reminded ourselves everyday how lucky we were to be together in an environment that never fails to take our breath away. We named your cabin the 'Lemon Drop' because it was the sweetest place to rest our heads and re-fuel for our adventures. Your preserves are delicious, thank-you for the samples.
