As soon as you enter our adorable cottage you will be welcomed by the original woodwork and wood floors. This small 2 bedroom, (one bath - recently updated and quaint kitchen - recently updated) will make you immediately unwind. Your here! We have tried to keep the feel of a cottage from the 30's and 40's time period with our decorating. This is a place for making wonderful memories. Watch the birds while sipping your morning coffee in the kitchen or porch. There is also a screen house. The private association beach is about a one block walk to Lake Michigan. There are 45 steps down to the sand. Come back and grill or get ready for dinner (many great restaurants from casual to dressy in the vicinity). Enjoy an evening down on the beach with the wonderful sunsets and back to play games with your family at the dining room table. This is a place where you can relax and catch up on those books to read and organize photo albums you have been meaning to get in order.

Grab a bottle and head down to our private beach to watch the sunset. Get away before all the holiday parties absorb you this winter. Take a hike through the woods or a jog along Lakeshore Road or on the beach. Take a morning walk (a nice stretch of the legs to get the paper and a great cup of coffee). The numerous restaurants are great and the atmosphere is totally relaxing. Many of the restaurants offer great Fall/Winter specials. Try your luck at Four Winds Casino. A Little Bit O'Heaven makes you feel so comfortable that we guarantee an afternoon nap is in order. We are now accepting reservations for Fal/Winterl 2009. Summer weeks fill up quickly since we now have many repeat customers so plan your vacation now. Don't hesitate and wait until the last minute. This place is truly 'A Little Bit O'Heaven'. Wonderful home which has been lovingly maintained. Top line heating, cooling, laundry and bathroom facilities. Home is a short walk to the beach. The owners went out of their way to help us - directions, where to find the Chicago papers, a red wagon for the grandchildren!

We have rented this lovely cottage at various times over a twenty year period. We now have the fun of introducing a new generation to the Lake Michigan beach.
Owner's Response: Thank you! That's what it is all about. We want to make sure everyone has the same opportunity to enjoy and love our "Little Bit O'Heaven" as much as we do. What makes us the happiest is when we see how much joy not only our home but the entire area brings to everyone who stays.

From outdoor movies on a starry night, to a competitive game of bean bags that last for days. To the wonderful cookouts and sunsets, each year just gets better and better.

Thank you to the wonderful families we have had the chance to share our home with they leave our home beautifully kept. We love to read the wonderful stories you leave in our guest book. Thank you from our children who have had the pleasure of meeting people from all over the world, you have given them memories of a life time also.

We look forward to all returning and new friends.

It really is a 'Little Bit of Heaven'

This is a very quaint, very charming cottage. The kitchen and bathroom are updated and the decor throughout the cottage is a perfect complement to the original features as well as the improvements. The grounds surrounding the cottage are well maintained and are as beautiful as the inside. The private beach is a big bonus - it is clean, relaxing, and never crowded.
I have been coming here for the last few years and have found the owners to be very accommodating. Other people in the area are friendly and it is a great place to take long walks or bike rides.This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy beautiful Lake Michigan. Only an hour from Chicago, but you feel very far away!
