The all organic Queen bed in the second bedroom is hopefully the most comfortable bed you have ever experienced. A French door opens to your ocean view and magnificent ocean breezes.

Walk to Ocean Beach, a coastal town time has forgotten. It’s one of the few places left in San Diego where the shops are locally owned and managed instead of being owned by big chains.

Fine dining, great breakfast and lunch spots and unique shopping are a short walk away. Small, but enchanting, this 2 bedroom retreat is immaculate with the finest of organic linens and designer amenities.

Why The Owner chose San Diego

Our Ocean Front Beach Retreat needs to be seen to be believed. When we first saw it we knew we had to have it in our family. We want to share this amazing setting with others as it is truly one in a million. We searched for property for over a year and when we discovered this beauty we purchased it on the first day.

What makes this condo unique

The setting is specatular. The condo sits on a bluff above the tidepools and ocean below. The sunsets are amazing as well as the sounds of the waves and wild life below. There is an awesome view of the Ocean Beach Pier and you can sit in the patio and watch the surfers in the distance. On may occasions the local dolphins play in front of the condo. The little town of Ocean Beach is only a 2 block stroll away. There you will find many unique shops and restaurants that line the main street.

We certainly enjoyed our time at the ocean front retreat. The location is outstanding. We spent many an hour simply watching and listening to the waves roll in. As well, the retreat was very clean and well equipped and only about a 10 minute walk to " downtown " Ocean Beach. All of the attractions in the San Diego area that we wished to visit were a short drive from the retreat,which was an added bonus. Also, the description and pictures of the retreat are exactly as presented. The owners of the retreat are very helpful and a pleasure to work with----everything from booking the property to meeting us upon our arrival to returning our damage deposit couldn't have been any better. As I look out the window of my house and see the snow laying on the ground I dream of returning to a warmer location and the ocean front retreat would fit my needs perfectly. Obviously, I would highly recommend the ocean front retreat to any potential renters.

Lisa and Tom,
What a wonderful place you have! We very much loved having the place all to our selves. It was much better than a hotel. We were able to cook our own home grown beef and pork and saved a great deal of money on food. We enjoyed eating our dinners on the beach every night. Thank you for lining up the beautiful flowers for my Mom for Mothers Day. They were GREAT. The kids enjoyed having the beach toys, (boogie boards, surf boards etc) to be able to try their hand at in the waves. The only thing that could have made it better would have been if we could have stayed longer. I will definitely recommend your place to others that I know traveling to the area. Thanks again. We will be back.

Relaxation magnifique!

Magnificent location with great sunset views, the sound of crashing waves and the call of sea birds. It was difficult to drag ourselves away to explore! But explore we did. Beach walks, cliff walks, state preserves and the local shops. BBQ and wine while gazing at the sun slipping below the ocean - what a change of pace. Accomodation perfect for a few days getaway. Can't wait for our next visit. Highly recommend.

Breathtaking View! Hard to get much closer to the ocean than this place.

I am planning to stay this summer here for the second time this year. I would love to move to Sunset Cliffs some day!

This vacation rental is a pure stress reliever. Sitting on the patio and staring into the ocean was amazing. You can even smell the ocean the moment you step foot out of your car. We had a our meals on the patio in the morning, afternoon and evening everyday because it was just so nice to get fresh air.

The home is decorated with a beachy feel and it really helped to give the whole beach lifestyle atmosphere. The bed was sooooooo comfortable and waking up to hearing waves crashing was amazing.

You could walk to anything and everything, yet at the same time feel like you had privacy too. The view and walking distance to the pier was great. I highly recommend taking a walk on the pier to see all of the Ocean Beach character.

We also went to Sea World for the day which was great because it was really close by- which made it not a big production (we have an 18 month old).

Thank you again Tom and Lisa! We appreciate your kindness and appreciate that you were so helpful to us during our stay. Look forward to seeing you this summer.
