Goose Creek Resort is located in North East Kalkaska County. The heart of the snow belt. Our house offers everything for the outdoor enthusiast right at your doorstep. The Blue Bear snowmobile trail is within minutes of the cabin allowing access to unlimited miles of state and 'back country' trails for snowmobilers, ATV and dirt bike enthusiasts. Kalkaska County is nearly 80% state land offering excellent opportunity for those who like to go off the beaten path. The local state land offers excellent low pressure hunting of all northern Michigan game species. Area lakes include Bear, Blue, Manistee and Twin Lakes, all with public access. For the trout fisherman, the renowned Manistee River is minutes away. The local 'watering hole' is the Hideaway Bar and Grill. Over the past years we have nearly remodeled the entire interior with new carpet, drapes, log beds, tubs/shower, vanity, toilets, and kitchen counter tops. Our cottage will be the cleanest you have stayed.

Amenities: Goose Creek Resort is furnished, 3 bedrooms with log beds for your comfort (1 queen, 2 full), a sofa bed in the living room and a futon in the finished basement accommodating 6+ people comfortably. 1.5 baths, Satellite TV, kitchen, with microwave, as well as a coffee maker. After a long day playing outdoors, head downstairs to the 'Goose Creek Lounge' for a game of pool, basketball, table soccer, darts, music, and a custom knotty pine bar. Goose Creek Resort does not allow smoking or pets within the house. There is a spacious enclosed breezeway that will accommodate both. Goose Creek Resort does not have laundry facilities. Goose Creek Resort is closed to hunting on its property.

Activities: Practically everything you can think of. Area: less than 45 minutes from Traverse City, 35 minutes to Turtle Creek Casino, 30 Minutes to Gaylord.
