WH-21: TWO OAKS

I stayed in this home for one week in June 2012. The house was across the street from the Merlin walkway that went to the beach. The walkway went through 3 blocks which was a little far for seniors and children that have worn themselves out at the beach:) but otherwise was good. It had all that we needed. I slept in the bedroom on the 3rd floor and the mattress was not comfortable, but I can not speak for the rest of my party. We occupied all three floors during our stay. I understand the second floor was the difficult as you could hear all the was going on on both the 1st and 3rd floor. I would recommend heating the pool as it was pretty cool during our stay so we didn't get to utilize the pool as much as we'd liked. There is an extra charge to heat the pool though. While there we went to Corolla Water Sports and rented waver runners and went on the Wild Horse Adventure tour both were very close by which was great. Nagshead and Roanoke Island were hour commutes from the house. One other thing if you were using the stairs outside of the house from the 3rd floor going down be very careful I actually fell and 2 other people in my party also almost fell even after they knew I did. There is no landing at the 90 degree turn the stairs just start angling so it is very easy to fall.
