Absolutely beautiful 2 BR/1 BA upper unit with hardwood and vaulted ceilings in newly remodeled, smaller (10 units) building just steps from Runyan Canyon Park. This location on LaBrea Ave. is a quiet residential street North of Franklin at the base of the Hollywood Hills. It is within 2 blocks of a Fresh and Easy grocery store and 3 gyms. And the clubs and restaurants of Hollywood are just a short stroll from your front door. In the Hills above the unit live some of Hollywood's biggest stars so if you keep your eyes open, you may just run into one of them!

It is within easy walking distance from the Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood/Highland, the Kodak Theater, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Sunset Strip, West Hollywood, and the Outpost neighborhood. The apartment is located less than 2 miles from Universal Studios Hollywood which is just 1 subway stop away. This is one of the safest and best neighborhoods in all of LA! And convenient to the whole LA basin. You are 30 minutes from the beach, 45 minutes from Disneyland, 10 minutes from Universal Studios Hollywood, 15 minutes from Downtown Staples Center, and 20 minutes from Pasadena.

About The Owner

I have lived in this area for 20 years since I moved to LA from the Midwest USA. I have traveled all over the world so I know what visitors want and expect from a holiday rental.

I love the proximity of the unit to all of LA's major attractions and great clubs and restaurants. I have owned this property for over 12 years and have continually improved and upgraded it. I strive to give people a great place to experience this great city!

The unit is within walking distance or a short subway ride to most of LA's top attractions. The neighborhood is beautiful and just close enough to walk everywhere but just a bit removed from the hustle of the tourist destinations. The perfect place to stay in LA!

Amazing Apartment in the Heart of Hollywood

John was an excellent host and offered us such a great rental property. He promptly greeted us and gave us bottles of water upon our arrival. The unit was nicely decorated and very clean. The location was incredible, at the base of Runyan Canyon and a five minute walk to the Hollywood Walk of Fame Strip. Having two parking spots at the unit was extremely convenient. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a relaxing stay in L.A., even if you don't have a car this location is so centrally located to public transportation that it doesn't matter.

Perfect Hollywood Location A+

My family and I just stayed at this rental for a one month stint. Comfort was extremely important and this rental was the perfect fit. Everyone mentioned how much they enjoyed their stay. The peace and quiet was a very pleasant reprieve, from the hustle and bustle just outside in Hollywood. The location couldn’t have been better. It was perfect for traveling around the city, with off street parking to boot. The bedroom balcony was so quaint with a French door opening, and a great place to catch some morning sun. It really felt private and secluded amongst the trees. The decor was very tastefully appointed, and my family and I truly felt at home. Just blocks away from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and a great hiking area called Runyon Canyon. It's a must see with an awesome view of the entire city. Many thanks to John the owner. He was extremely kind and helpful. I have already recommended this rental to friends, and I personally plan on renting it again.

Spring in LA

We spent a very pleasant few days in this apartment. The apartment is light, airy, comfortable, and attractively decorated. It was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed (2 moms, each with a with 20 year old daughter). The location was ideal and within walking distance of attractions, shopping, good walking and metro. We would return.

I was looking for a place where my family could stay while I was in Kaiser hospital on Sunset Blvd. The choices of hotels/motels in the area were poor to be kind. John's Apt was very convenient to the hospital and the area was very easy to negotiate. It is 2 blocks from Hollywood blvd, shops and restaurants. It was very clean, comfortable and the area was very quiet. John greeted us at the apt with some fresh fruit and the entire transaction was handled very professionally. I would not hesitate to recommend this property for someone in my circumstances but also anyone who is just on vacation.

This condo was perfect for our vacation in Hollywood. The location was central and withion walking distance to everything you could want to do in Hollywood. The building was nice and the unit was clean and well appointed. The owner was helpful and approachable. I would reccommend this condo to anyone and will also rent it again for our next trip.
