The Nail Bay resort is nothing short of amazing.
The views were breathtaking, the service was impeccable and the sun bronzed us nicely :)
I came with my boyfriend and two friends to Virgin Gorda to visit a couple friends who live on the island. After all the research, (and I do a lot when I travel), we chose to stay at Nail Bay. When we arrived we knew we had made the right choice. It was clean, open, had great views and it was very affordable (we are all young 24/25 year olds without big bank accounts so believe me, if we can do it, anyone can).
Everyone at the resort was more than accommodating. Latha even coordinated us a Taxi on a whim when she hadn't heard from us and we missed the 6:00 ferry into Virgin Gorda from the Port we were at. They even booked a car for us to rent at a price cheaper than all the rentals I had looked into myself.
I highly recommend seeing The Baths, Leverick Bay, Mineshaft, snorkeling, and renting a boat if possible. You can do a little dinghy for $90/day in Leverick Bay. For food, there is an awesome bakery across from Napa on your way to the Rock Cafe where I also enjoyed some delicious pizza.
The bakery is the cheapest place you will find food ($3.50 subs that are too big for your tummy).
Everything on the island was beautiful from the boats and colors to the views under and out of the water. We all felt so at home and so relaxed in our little piece of paradise.
I can't wait to come back!
