The Vanni house was built in 1925 by Italian immigrants Ettore and Diamanta Vann

The Vanni house was built in 1925 by Italian immigrants Ettore and Diamanta Vanni and was lovingly restored and updated to perfection by its current owners. Located right in the heart of Tahoe City, the house is a classic two story, four room cabin (living room and kitchen on the ground floor, master and guest bedrooms upstairs) with a small bath and laundry added onto the back porch (to replace the original "two holer" outhouse out back!) The living room features a small gas fireplace with an antique walnut mantel and matching walnut trim. The kitchen has all new state-of-the-art appliances and is very "comfy" as well as functional. The two bedrooms are tastefully decorated in the Tahoe style. The front porch features Oatmeal Granite quarried in the area by the original owner/builder. Three minute walk to Lake Tahoe, stores, restaurants, pharmacy, tennis, golf, hiking-everything! Highly recommended-book this one early. It is believed to be the oldest residence in Tahoe City. Please inquire about shorter stays.
