This is a charming cottage.

It's been named Deer park- in memory of a famous resort in Northern Wisconsin called Deer park Lodge in Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin. Deer park has undergone a top to bottom renovation during 2009 and 2010. 3 bedrooms- accommodating up to 6 people. Flat screen TV's in all 3 bedrooms and the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped and has granite counter tops and cherry cabinets. The cottage flows seamlessly from the kitchen to the dining room and living room. The master bath has a tub with 46 jets for soothing relaxation. This property is ideal for vacation rentals and executive retreats.

Deer park has played host to guests as far away as Australia,Germany, and Ecuador. Whether you fancy the beaches of Lake Michigan in the summertime, the colorful foliage of the Fall, or enjoy a family reunion during the holidays - Deer park is a vacation destination!

The Dunes along Lake Michigan are a National treasure to be experienced! From Deer park one can drive down the Red Arrow Highway (Hwy 12) heading east to enjoy antique stores, great restaurants, Warren Dunes State Park, local orchards, and regional wineries in both Indiana and Michigan. A wonderful day trip is driving east on the Red Arrow Highway all the way to Saugatuck,Michigan for a most enjoyable day! Locally here in Michigan City and in LaPorte County- there is the Washington Park Zoo- one of 5 Zoos in the State of Indiana! The Zoo is located across the street from Washington Park on Lake Michigan. Many families with young children staying at Deer park have thoroughly enjoyed the option of sitting at the beach in Washington Park and then taking their youngsters to our fabulous zoo for a change of pace! There are so many points of interest in the immediate area! All of Deer park's guests have not only enjoyed the cottage but also enjoyed the many attractions and activities that abound around our shores along Lake Michigan!

Very nice home and Christian was a very responsive host. Easy drive to ND for game weekend activities and very close to Lake Michigan shore. Home is very fresh with nice renovation. Only negative was the very small half bath. With a second full bath or three quarter this place would be perfect.

What a great place to stay.

My friends and I stayed here over the memorial day weekend and what a blast we had. The place was clean and Christian was so friendly. very quite neighborhood and everyone keeps to them selves. you can walk to the beach about a mile away. Fast food places and grocery store just around the corner. A++. We will definitely come back to this place again.

Upon their arrival everyone received a complimentary Deer park t shirt and the 6 of them proceeded to explore the restaurants and beaches in the area! I look forward to welcoming them back to Deer park in the future and perhaps for a longer stay!
