Absolutely beautiful log home along the Truckee River, with lots of space! A much more private version of vacation than being on the lake, and there's a little path down to the swimming hole on the river. We also fly fished along the property and caught a few medium sized trout. The interior is really well done, and the main fireplace is enormous!! It's also only a mile or so to Squaw, and halfway between Truckee and Tahoe City if you're going out to eat (though we mostly stayed home and grilled).
