Owners are from Portland, Oregon.

Christy & Stan created the Orbit In hotel in Palm Springs in 2001, and their good friend Ron has the boutique '3 Monkeys' on NW 23rd Ave. in Portland.

We love both the panoramic mountain views and also the architectural views of this neighborhood.

It's very quiet and peaceful, has great neighbors, walking, biking and a fabulous hiking trailhead right around the corner!

What makes this condo unique

Wonderful hiking trail located right around corner from condo that gives hikers an amazing view of the entire Coachella Valley. We have an amazing green space through our complex, where guests can play croquet or Bocce Ball around the pool area.

Peaceful and Relaxing Palm Springs Hideway

My family stayed at this stunning mountainview condo for a month in November 2011. What a great find! Although the condo is comfortable with fashionable furnishings and all the expected amenities, the real draw here is the outdoors. The unit is located in a very quiet neighborhood of south Palm Springs, which is wind free and very peaceful and quiet. This makes for a very relaxing getaway that leaves you rejuvenated and fresh. The only sound at night as you drift off to sleep is the hooting of the neighborhood owl!

I would highly recommend this condo to anyone who enjoys all that beautiful Palm Springs has to offer. It's the California Dream at its best! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

If you are like me, a child of the 60's, this place will be a wonderful treat. The structure & decor are pure Mid Century. The rooms are large & comfortable. The entire house is very light & bright due to all the windows. The mountain views are terrific. The pool & spa are only steps away & the grounds are very well kept. Speaking of the grounds there are many citrus trees available for picking. We had fresh squeezed juice every morning. Even during the Christmas week rush the complex was peaceful & the common areas uncrowded.
The house is also located well. Downtown PS is an easy bike ride. The fantastic hiking at Indian Canyon is only 2 miles away. And the upscale shopping is a short trip down the valley.
Also Christie, the owner, is very responsive on info & questions. And I received back my security deposit shortly after returning home.
On our next visit to PS we will for sure stay here.

Owner has created an incredible 1960's ambience to this vey spacious, tasteful & retro designed condo.
We were overwhelmed by incredible mountain views, expansive manicured lawns,pool and spa area,
Location is peaceful,private and yet close to downtown Palm Springs shopping and tons of great restaurants. This condo is by far our favourite location for long or short terms visits.
The owners were extremly accomodating,gracious & easily accessible.
Very happy renters from the Great White North.

If you have a fantasy of having lived in Palm Springs in the 60's- with a swanky pad and martinis by the pool every day at 4:00- then pack your bags! Once you stay in this fab little mid-century enclave, you'll never consider chain hotels again. The owners of this gem have done everything exactly right in bringing the true essence of Palm Springs to this bright, airy and open condo. In addition to a well stocked kitchen and comfy beds, the home is perfectly appointed with fine art and rare mid-century modern furniture, so your fantasy can also include that you have great taste and lots of money! The property is quiet and lush... great for both serious decompression and adult entertaining. We have stayed many times, and will stay many times more. We highly recommend you do the same!!

Palm Srpings Fabulous Retreat!

This house is very welcoming and the decor is fabulous! It faces the beautiful Palm Springs mountains and the pool is just steps away! It's very light and bright and nice and open. You feel like entertaining with the mid-century feel. It's as if you are stepping into the era with martini in hand for a leisurely cocktail hour. The rooms are large with lots of space and private patio's. Whether you are with family or friends, this house is delightful place to stay and is in one of the best neighborhoods in Palm Springs with access to lots of hiking, biking, and even horse back riding! Not to mention some great garage sales! I would recommend it over and over again!!
