Dave and I have traveled many times to Florida looking for a quiet serene location where we can get out of the New England weather challenges. This property and surrounding locations fit our needs along with our 2 jack rusell terriers

fresh water canal, fishing off of private dock
We had a wonderful time at this property in Floral City. the house was so spacious and everything that you could possibly need for your stay there. Everything was neat and clean. The back yard was beautiful and very private on the river. It was very relaxing. Every once in a while a boat would go by and Kenny loved the dock for fishing. The property is close to restaurants and shopping. Hope to go back next year.
My stay was great everything was clean neat, and with new hardwood flooring, easy yo keep clean, enjoyed the dock for fishing, and will definitely rent again
My husband & I spent 32 days here as we were waiting to close on our home here in Florida. You can tell the home is just a rental because it was very outdated, and needed a lot of work on the inside.
There were 2 major holes (floor rot) when we arrived, the living room hole had nothing but carpet to keep me from falling into it (4-5 inches diameter), and the other in the kitchen which was causing the drawers to twist & the dishwasher to close hard.
The owners didn't have the A/C coil serviced & cleaned in numerous seasons so we lost A/C for 2-3 days in mid August until the HVAC crew could come clean it. We had to stay elsewhere until it was fixed because the home was up to 92+ degrees by then.
The neighborhood is VERY run down, & nearly every night (10pm-3am) there was loud techno music blaring across the street. We filed a complaint with the local police because it was getting to be very agitating & all hours of the night, but they still continued. Neighborhood had many shady characters.
We had an insect problem. Beetles, ants, flies, one or two roaches.
The maintenance fellow Brian, came and sprayed the next day. Brian was very helpful to us, and took our complaints seriously.
We didn't use the spare bedroom because the sheets were dirty upon arrival (hair & crumbs under the covers) Showers & floors were dirty upon arrival, we cleaned the entire house upon arrival and did the same as we left.
1) home was in need of repairs
2) we didn't have A/C for 2-3 days & had to stay elsewhere due to no A/C.
3) We lost power for 12 hours with no supplies (we bought our own flashlights, etc)
Yet she still charged us all of the ELECTRIC bill!
That was a MAJOR inconvenience for us, the least she could have done was cut the electric bill in half because of her own negligence to do SEASONAL MAINTENANCE!
I only got 1/4 of my deposit back, and I was VERY upset about that. The deposit was supposed to be returned to me in full upon inspection that the home was left in same/good condition. She deducted the ELECTRIC out of my deposit, which was not apart of the lease.
I wrote her a review in a letter via postal mail and she didn't offer any apologies or acknowledgment to us at all. She made sure to fix that floor for the next tenants though!!
Overall, I would NOT recommend this rental because Pauline lacks customer service & landlord skills & expects too much money for a run-down trailer in a bad neighborhood. No thanks!
My wife and I recently spent a month in this property while house hunting for a winter home. It was just what we needed. This mobile was clean, everything worked, fenced yard was nice for our dog and we even had a little time for fishing from the dock. The owners were attentive but not intrusive as they occasionally checked on us. Overall we had a very nice stay. Thanks Pauline. Tim & Dawn
I stayed here 2 months while looking for a home to purchase. It was wonderful !!! Fenced front yard for my dogs, huge home and it truly does have everything you could possibly need. The king size bed was as comfortable as my own. There is a market right up the street if you need something and a very neat restaurant a couple miles away.(Great burgers and pizza.) The outside seating opens to one of the prettiest places on the canal, and you can get an airboat ride on the weekends. The drive in from the main highway is amazing, cattle, pastures and ponds. It was had for me to leave.
We rented this home for three months this past winter. The home itself is nice and large, and very comfortable. The decor could use an update, but it was clean, and everything imaginaeable that you would need in a home, even a heating pad . The yard is large and very private, and the fenced in front yard was great for letting the dog out with no worries. The location was extremely quiet, and the neighbors friendly, although it is not an upscale neighborhood. It was convenient for shopping and antique-ing. Not far from grocery and retail shopping and the prices were great. Lots of restaurants to choose from and lots of scenic drives nearby. I would like to see the carpet being replaced with click or hardwood flooring as my allergies acted up some. The owners are friendly, and easy to deal with. I would reccomend the home for those looking for a clean and affordable, quiet place to stay. Two families could stay here very comfortably.
