Great place for a family stay with nearby restaurants and a quick trip into SF

We stayed at this home at the end of September / beginning of October 2011 and loved it !! We actually live in Asia and brought our 6 month old boy home for family to meet. They flew in from the east coast and the west and stayed with us.
The living area downstairs with the modern open-layout kitchen was just what we needed and much larger than what I had expected from the photos. The back deck is covered and served as a nice outdoor area for some meals. One item of note is that the home backs onto Tiburon Blvd. While you don't see the cars because of the trees, one bedroom does hear them, but it did not disturb our guests who stayed in that room. (and of course, this isn't the city, so there is not much in the middle of the night).
Upstairs, the master bedroom is huge with a view of the city, the same view that the living room has (see photo) and that was great as we had a crib and we were isolated from the other rooms. All amenities and fixtures are modern and work well. We found the beds to be very comfortable, firm yet soft.
We particularly appreciated being able to walk to Strawberry Village for coffee, restaurants and food shopping. It is less than a 10-minute walk. One day we caught the ferry into SF from Tiburon - a great experience. And we discovered that, if you want to take buses as my east coast family prefers, they are actually quite convenient as well. (My wife and I used our rental car and it was a 10 minute ride into San Francisco.
Also, my late teen / early 20s nephews enjoyed the basketball hoop out back.
Finally, the owner was very easy to work with.
We had a great stay at this home and would strongly recommend staying there. It doesn't sit on the water, but it is a convenient walk to Starbucks and restaurants, does have a view of the city and the interior is a great place for "living".
