Charming two-story lakeside villa in the Windswept section of East Beach Village; located at a beach access; 100 yards to the ocean; within walking distance of the Night Heron Park athletic fields, playground and nature center, the five-diamond Sanctuary Hotel with 2 restaurants, East Beach Tennis Club, and the Turtle Point Golf Course and adjacent restaurant. The main level includes the living room with 40' flat-panel HDTV, separate dining room, kitchen (completely renovated 2009) and bedroom (twin beds) with a full bath. A wrap-around bi-level deck that overlooks Night Heron Lagoon is accessible from the dining room, living room and bedroom. Two additional bedrooms each with full baths (master bedroom with queen bed and large dressing area, the other bedroom with twin beds) are located on the second floor. All rooms in the villa overlook the lagoon. Covered parking is located underneath the villa. High speed Internet access.

We are just ending our second stay at this wonderful Windswept lakeside townhouse. We love it, and we have already booked for next year. We have been coming to Kiawah for about 25 years (for a week a two in the summer for most of those) and have stayed in six locations. This is our hands-down favorite. It is so close to the beach – 2 minutes – and, when we are indoors, the wildlife on the lagoon entertains us. Herons and egrets appear, and an alligator (and occasionally two) laze on the opposite shore. The décor is comfortably casual, as a beach place should be, and it is bright and sunny and always very clean when we arrive. The new kitchen is a plus, and Pete and Richard are gracious and responsive owners to deal with.

Great Villa!

This was the first time we stayed at Windswept, and the villa was wonderful! It was clean, spacious, and close to the beach. There was enough room for 6 adults and a baby. It was nice sitting outside on the deck and looking out over the lagoon and watching the alligator swim around. Would definitely come back an stay at this villa! We had a great week in Kiawah, like we usually do!
