Grandview offers spectacular mountain views in a gated residential nature preserve. Featuring 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, gourmet kitchen, and lots of parking, its perfect for a family get together. Relax upstairs while the kids enjoy the 9' pool table, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, and big screen HDTV in the lower rec level. They even have their own kitchenette! Enjoy the warmth of 2 stone fireplaces and all natural architecture or wind down in the claw foot tub. The main level also includes two 50 inch HDTV's with surround sound, Blu-ray, and HD satellite. Bring your iPod for the whole house music system or surf using our wireless internet. HOUSE LAYOUT: Ground level - mini kitchen, bedroom with regular set of bunks and trundle bunk bed set and full bath. Main level - Master with King and full bath. UP: loft with double sleeper sofa, two bedrooms with Kings and full futons with private baths. Grandview is in Gateway Mountain (only 10 minutes off I-40) which is at the center of lots of great mountain adventures. Discover Gateway's own waterfall park and beautiful Lake George, both about 15 minutes away within the neighborhood. Great hiking can be found at Catawba Falls- 20 minutes, Chimney Rock-30 minutes, or the amazing Linville Gorge, about 45 minutes away. Enjoy shopping in Black Mountain-20 minutes, Lake Lure- 30 minutes, Asheville- 30 minutes, or Hendersonville-45 minutes. Biltmore House is 35 minutes to the west and don't miss Apple Valley during apple season, only 35 minutes south. If that's not enough, the Blue Ridge Parkway is only 30 minutes away for its beautiful drives. In the evenings, wind down on the huge deck with its unbelievable views of the Blue Ridge. SHEETS AND TOWELS INCLUDED for your convenience. The owners have now paved the driveway! During winter weather 4WD is recommended for the gravel roads of Gateway, other times 2WD should be fine. Please note: Homeowner requires a 7 night rental at Christmas.

We stayed here with 3 couples and a toddler in total and had an excellent time. House was beautiful and really well equipped, with plenty of room when we all wanted to be together and large enough to have our own space when necessary. The grown up boys had great fun in the downstairs rec room with its own bar! - couldn't say a bad word about it at all

The house is beautiful and great for large group with married couples. Gameroom was great for the kids. Only problem is that there is not enough sheets,pillowcases for beds.We had 14 people in our group which is what the house is listed to handle and we did not have enough towels. Other than that small problem would highly recommend this house to anyone.

House was very nice. View was great. Very secluded. It was fun to drive and walk around the mountain community and enjoy the views, lakes and waterfall.

The house was beyond belief. The views were spectacular. It was like we were right next to Heaven. We have never enjoyed a Vacation facility that comes close to comparing to this House. It has everything you would possibility need or want.Staying there made for an unforgetable vacation experience.
