Amenities:: Inside, the first bedroom includes a queen bed, second bedroom has a trundle bed (two twins). Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee pot, pots, pans, dishes, toaster etc... The exterior offers a private picnic table, fire pits, playscape, private protected marina, basketball court, volleyball, horseshoes, sandy beach and all that Northern Michigan has to offer!
Actvities:: Lake Leelanau is approximately 22 miles long, so the lake is never what you would call busy. This is a clean sand & stone bottom lake for swimming and water sports and a much desired fishing lake. The lake has walleye, perch, rock bass and small mouth bass too. Wild life abounds here with ducks, geese, bald eagle, mink and much more. Enjoy the fire pit at night with the family, roast marshmallows and look at the stars, quite often the northern lights show themselves too.
Area:: The resort and Cabin are close to all that Leelanau County and the Grand Traverse Area has to offer, such as: Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes National Park, the Grand Traverse Bay & spectacular Peninsula Township, Golf courses (from Championship to Family), Wine country area vineyards for tasting, Interlochen Arts Academy, Shopping, Great Restaurants and wonderful Views of our beautiful Orchards, Countryside and Lake Michigan. Small unique resort towns like Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor, Lake Leelanau, Leland featuring Fish Town an eclectic mix of small shops at the mouth of the Leland River on the shore of Lake Michigan with views of the Manitou Islands off shore.
Golf: Northwest Lower Michigan has excellent golf opportunity from family courses to world class championship golf. Nearby the cabin (5 miles NE) is The Leelanau Club, phone number is (231) 271-2020.
