Photos and Description of the South Haven vacation cottage rental Happy, Cozy 2BR 1BA Cottage

This sweet home is newly redecorated. We named it 'The Ship Chandler's Cottage' for my husband's father who spent his life servicing the big iron ore freighters that traveled on the Great Lakes. It has one queen, one full and two twin beds (on knotty pine-paneled sleeping porch) plus a sleeper sofa. In a pretty neighborhood south of the river, only 3 blocks to beach access and 2 blocks to 'Kids Corner' playground and park. Walk or bike to our charming downtown. Large fenced-in backyard, deck, washer/dryer, range, microwave, gas grill, disposal and more! Bedrooms have window AC and all rooms have ceiling fans. This is a perfect getaway for a single family or 2 adult couples. Past Renters' Comments: 'We had the most wonderful week here. As soon as we walked in the door, it felt like home...the cottage was so comfortable and perfect--and your gardens are beautiful.' 'We were delighted with the stay at your beautiful cottage.

We were so pleasantly surprised by how roomy and comfortable the accommodations proved. The yard and flower gardens are gorgeous.' 'This has been one of the loveliest vacation spots I've ever experienced.' Amenities: Washer/dryer, gas grill, window AC plus ceiling fans, refrigerator, range, disposal, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, deck and fenced-in backyard with beautiful perennial garden, TV, stereo, DVD, PS2 Area: Guarantee that if you haven't already, you will fall in love with this beautiful town on Lake Michigan. The shopping is delightful, the vistas are breathtaking and the sunsets are spectacular. It's the perfect place for long walks, lazy beach days, all form of water sports. Also, short drives to Saugatuck, St. Joseph (home of the Venetian Festival) and Holland, MI.
