Honesdale offers a leisurely train ride if you're interested, a museum, shopping, and usually entertainment in the park. Ehrhardt's on Lake Wallenpaupack is very good and you look out over the lake. Also, for a thrill, check out the happenings at Cove Haven, the Honeymoon resort (home of the champagne glass jacuzzi). Features driving range, go-carts, mini golf, batting cages, and arcade games in Beach Lake.
