Wildwoods Cabin is truly heaven on earth. The photos do not do justice to the the exquisite construction, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. This new home was lovingly designed, constructed, detailed, furnished and best of all made by the owner's own two hands. In addition, the appliances are top of the line and the space is large, beautiful, and second only to the awesome views of Moose River from the full pictures windows on two levels of the home. This is a large home with two master size bedrooms, several more bedrooms and three full size bathrooms. Two levels make this home very private for sharing with extended family members or friends while maintaining privacy. It is hard to describe the calm, quite setting and the home's beauty, including the gas fireplace, countertop/bar area, furniture, bathrooms, stained glass doors to the laundry area, huge deck & grill, landscaping, outdoor fire pit, and walk to dock and canoe. Also, so much is already provided upon arrival: breakfast foods, coffee, firewood, grill, fish cleaning station, towels, linens, soap, shampoo/conditioner, supplies, etc! There is a beautiful soaker tub and a walk-in shower in the first floor master suite! Walk-in closets and closet space abound! The owner's woodworking skills are so respected and renown that he was commissioned to carve the amazing new burl wood arch that hangs over and marks the finish line of the Iditarod dog sled race in Nome, Alaska. The owner was fantastic, the property was spectacular, and my family and I had the absolute best vacation of our lives! Forget the cruise ships, crowds, and touristy tours. Stay centrally located like we did in a beyond beautiful home and setting that welcomes you home after enjoying awesome day trips on your own schedule. See the real Alaska from from the heavenly domain of Wildwoods Cabin! I wish we had planned another week, or even better, a whole month! Thank you for a vacation that will be most fondly and often remembered as the best ever!
