You could be watching and taking pictures of the dolphins playing in the Gulf of Mexico from one of my two private balconies in my private corner of paradise. My condo, with a breathtaking view, overlooks the seven mile long sugar white sand of St. Pete beach. Condo 503 offers a direct Gulf beachfront, fifth (top) floor condo in Vistas on The Gulf.

This condo gives you one of the most unique views in the building of the sunset as well as the all along the beach from the top floor My vacation home faces the Gulf of Mexico with an unobstructed view. Condo 503 also benefits from being a corner unit with additional windows from which to enjoy the many views of the surf and all along the North end of the beach. The extra windows also provide more natural light and the new screen patio door gives you an opportunity to turn the air conditioner off and enjoy the wonderful tropical breezes. if you choose to turn off the air conditioning and open the windows. This also gives you a chance to enjoy the sounds of the waves.

If you have usually stayed in hotels, compare not only the prices but the quality and space you will be getting for your money in my condo.

I take great pride in the cleanliness of my condo. I am constantly having everything professionally cleaned.

This building also happens to be the newest beach-side building designed for condos on St. Pete Beach unlike many condos along the beach that are motel or hotel rooms that have been converted condos.

Staying in my condo with a fully equipped kitchen gives you options for meals including being able to cook on outdoor grills that are on the property next to the pool.

I installed a door for privacy on the guest bedroom which was designed to be just an open room. Many of the condos in the building do not have that door.

My condo is within walking distance a large major grocery store as well as a variety of restaurants and a variety of shopping. You could easily stay here and not rent a car. You could sight see using the local trolley system.

Please note my condo rents for a minimum of one week and a maximum of 2 weeks Saturday to Saturday. I rent to a maximum of 4 persons per stay.

The living room balcony directly faces the Gulf, then wraps around with a panoramic view to the North along this beautiful beach. Remember my condo is beachfront, not just a condo in a beachfront building or one with a partial view from the side of the building.

The condominium is tastefully furnished and equipped with all the comforts of home, including granite counter tops in the kitchen and two bathrooms.

A new 40' flat screen TV was added to the living room in Sept., 2013 as well as a small flat screen TV in the guest bedroom. The issue with the new sofa that squeaked and had soft cushions was addressed successfully. The master bedroom also has a television.

Each balcony is furnished with two chairs, and a side table. The living room balcony has a lounge chair and the balcony is large enough to move the furniture from the second balcony if you need additional seating on the balcony. There is a small eating table on each balcony. New balcony furniture was just ordered in September 2013.

The condo has two cordless telephones that may be used for local telephone calls and the phone will receive incoming long distance call. There is also a messaging machine so you will not miss any incoming calls while you are out.

A washer and dryer is in the condo which means you do not have to pack as many clothes or go anywhere else to do your laundry nor pay for the use of my washer and dryer. My washer and dryer are in a closet in the hallway, and not in the guest room, so running it should not disturb anyone. It can be done while you are at the beach :-) There is an ironing board and iron are in a separate closet in the hallway.

One of the big advantages of my vacation home is I purchased reserved parking space, #7, which is not only beneath the building but right next to the elevator for the convenience.

I personally stay in my condo four times a year which gives me the time and opportunity to evaluate what needs to be replaced or added for not only the convenience of my guests, but myself as well.

The condominium building has an exercise room and free internet access.

An on-site office is open daily, with some exceptions, to pick up your key and address any questions or concerns you might have during your stay. Arrangements for keys for arrivals can be made allowing you to pick up the keys from a lock box on the property.

I purchased this condo after having spent many vacations on various beaches around the country. I knew I wanted strictly a beachfront condo where I could sit on the balcony in the mornings with a cup of coffee and enjoy watching the dolphins. In the evening I wanted to be able to sit on my balcony with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunsets overlooking the beach. No matter what the weather is, there is something about overlooking the water that soothes my soul.

I love walking long uninterrupted distances on the beach and was looking for a wide, long, and firm sand beach. St Pete Beach met that criteria. I also wanted to be able to walk along the beach to somewhere for breakfast or ice cream. It was important that it was a beach that was good for swimming and water sports. I also looked for an area that met my desire to be close to sporting and cultural events as well as a variety of shopping and restaurants of all kinds because I knew this would be a vacation home as well as a beach get-away. The location of this condo meets all of my criteria.

This particular condo was the view I could only have dreamed of ever having. You cannot see my balconies from any other condo in the building. I was also impressed that this condo does not have a window to an outside hallway. These privacy advantages were important to me.

The building is centrally located which means I can take a shuttle from the airport and not even bother having a car or if I have a car it is an easy drive to and from the airport. There is also a trolley on St. Pete Beach that you can pick up at various stops along Gulf Blvd and goes as far north as Clearwater.

I stay in my condo every three months as it is my vacation home so all of these reasons are important.

The advantages of staying in my beachfront condo vs. staying in a beachfront hotel room or a condo with just a view of the beach are numerous.

When you rent my condo you will not be charged a resort fee, a security deposit fee and you will have a reserved parking space under the building directly next to the elevator at no extra charge to you. You will not be paying someone to park your car either.

The guest bedroom has a door and my washer and dryer are not in that bedroom, but in the hallway near the kitchen.

The views are breathtaking and because this is not a large hotel you will not be crowded on the beach in front of the condo. Of course you never have to leave the condo to watch the dolphins or the sunset.

I still pinch myself every time I walk to the balcony and realize this truly is my corner of paradise.

This beautiful top floor, ocean front condo was in pristine condition and very comfortable for the two of us. Our grandkids are so big now that it would not accommodate a family visit, but it was exactly what we needed to get away from the dreadful 2014 winter in upstate New York. We have already recommended the property to others and hope to return again ourselves. We walked the beach every day except one and on that day we fell in love with all that downtown St. Petersburg had to offer - the Museum of Fine Arts as well as the Dali & Chihully museums, the multi screen movie theater, the Hangar for lunch and the historic Vinoy Hotel for drinks.

Well kept direct beach access property

We always come a long way to extend the summer seaon.and we have found the perfect place for us and for that reason. Linda's place is a perfect retreat to relax and enjoy life. This place makes you feel like home and rewards you with spectacular views of the Gulf with unforgettable sunsets. You realize at once that this place is not just an investment. You feel the personal touch of Linda in every corner and she cares in any way to make your stay a perfect one. We hope to come back many more years.

Top notch views and location

First of all I'd like to thank Linda for sharing her condo with us. She was very responsive and helpful throughout the process and the property was exactly as described.

We had a great time with our 4 year and 16 month olds. The sunset views from the balcony were breathtaking. The beach was quiet and peaceful, the pool and jacuzzi were clean and nicely maintained. The weather got unexpectedly nippy for the first couple of days we were there but hey can't blame anyone for that.

As referenced in some previous reviews, one improvement we would suggest is adding a screen to the patio door. We were conflicted between respecting Linda's wishes to keep the door closed to keep the bugs out versus wanting to let the cool sea breeze in :). Also we found the living room couch a bit uncomfortable, too soft for our liking and made a weird squeaking noise every time we sat down or got up. The rocking chairs on the other hand were great.

We will be sure to consider this property for any future trips to St Pete.

Loved the view!

This was our first time to St. Pete Beach and we loved it! The condo was great and the location was perfect for us. The view from the lanai looking down the beach was simply beautiful. We saw dolphins every morning, but one particular morning they really put on a show, fully breaching out of the water and flipping on their backs! There were probably eight of them! We walked the beach every day and always found a different spot to stop with our feet in the sand for a great burger, ice cream, and even breakfast one morning. Be sure to visit Sandbar Bill's a few properties north for the best hamburgers ever! We walked every night to a different restaurant for dinner. Our favorite was probably Bongos-Bongos about a 15 minute walk north. This lwas a great outdoor, multi-level, multi-bar, full restaurant with live entertainment and cozy fireplaces. We played golf at three different courses, and would recommend Seminole Country Club. The conditions were good and very reasonably priced. Linda does a great job paying attention to the details that make a rental feel like home. The only thing we would have liked would be a screen on the sliding door to the lanai. Other than that, it was perfect for us! (We even had record high temperatures at the end of the week...84 degrees! But the gulf was still only 66...too cold for us!). The heated pool and hot tub satisfied our water needs very nicely though. We'll be back!

I just put a call in to Coastal glass to measure and get a cost estimate for a screen door for the front balcony. I have resisted the screen because some guests forget to turn off the air conditioner when they open the doors and windows and then the air conditioner tends to freeze up if it is overworked. The thing is I too would prefer the sea breeze to air conditioning so I am following through with your suggestion and will post a note next to the door with a reminder to turn off the air conditioner when using the screen door.

I have been vacationing in St Pete
Beach for 30 years and I can honestly say that Linda's condo at Vista's is by far the best. The view is exceptional, the condo is spotless, New mattress, great staff. I could go on and on. This is my husbands and I third year here and we will be back next year. Thanks Linda

  • The master bedroom has a queen size bed, cable TV and a private bathroom. The guest bedroom (sitting room) is furnished with a trundle bed that converts into two twin beds and the room has a flat screen television and dresser. The second bathroom is adjacent to the guest room. The guest bedroom , which has french doors, opens onto the second private balcony with a view along the North shoreline and across to the inter-coastal waters. The closet for the guest room is in the hallway although there is a small hanging rack in the guest bedroom and a dresser. There is a pull out queen sofa in the living room and an available room divider that can be used for privacy when using the sofa as a bed.

Notes:
I own a reserved parking space that is reserved under the building, next to the elevator. I believe this condo is most comfortable with either two adults plus 2 children or four adults. An exercise room is available on site as well as a borrowing book library for guests. During my recent visit in September, 2013 I replaced two of the three televisions with new flat screen TV's, purchased two new telephones and ordered new balcony furniture. I have replaced the queen mattress and box springs, the bedroom carpeting and have personally added many amenities that will make this feel more like a vacation home, than just a rental condo. I have added a screen to the sliding balcony door so you can enjoy the sea breeze and the sound of the waves....once you turn the air conditioner off.
