The neighborhood: Like Thai, Italian, Japanese? American, Cajun/ Southern influenced food? The house is conveniently located within a ten minute walk to destination and neighborhood restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops. Close to Max train and three blocks to bus line, and near the Interstate Farmer's Market (in-season). Close to newly opened restaurants, groceries, in a residential and family-oriented neighborhood. Easy access to downtown museums, movie and live theaters, neighborhood restaurants and stores, day trips to Mt. Hood for skiing and hiking, day trips to the coast and to wineries, near local brew pubs, Saturday Market local crafts fair, farmers markets, etc.

The kids also really loved the bird demonstration. We found Portland to be a very fun place. It was great to stay at a home and not a cold, lifeless hotel. Thanks again! We all had a great time. -We really loved the house. It is really tastefully restored and decorated. It was plenty spacious for us and our 3 children. The kitchen is very well stocked with all you need to cook meals etc. We came here to visit family and friends and it was a welcome respite from the previous 2 busy weeks of our visit. Being used to hotels it was a breath of fresh air to have a lovely, cozy home to stay in. Unfortunately, we weren't here too much due to a hectic schedule of performances this week, but still, at the end of the day to have a nice bed, comfy couches, a fridge + stove to come back to, we were delighted to stay here. You've make 4 dancing queens extremely happy! Thanks again! -Dear Steve, Thank you for providing such a lovely house for three weary San Franciscans to rest and relax in.
