Great Location: This condo is walking distance to the Schuss Mountain ski hill: Ski-in and Ski-out. Five quad chairs make waiting in line a thing of the past. Children's programs are available as are ski lessons for all. At Schuss Village there are two pools (indoor and outdoor) and a hot tub & sauna. Ivan's restaurant overlooks Schuss Mountain and serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks and also houses a full service bar. There is live entertainment in the evenings. Hansel Lodge contains a convenience store and ski shop. Don't forget to take the horse-drawn sleigh ride. There are casinos in Traverse City and Petoskey. There is something for everyone. The quiet walks in the lovely woods are totally refreshing. A shuttle stop is also located near the condo allowing you to travel to anywhere in the entire resort with ease. Enjoy all three Shanty Creek resorts: Schuss Village, Summit and Cedar River. All resorts are within a 5 minute drive and offer a variety of family activities. The resort offers a free shuttle service to all guests. Downhill skiing on 46 runs, snowboarding, cross country skiing on groomed trails, snowmobiling, sledding, golf, biking & walking trail, tennis, fitness center, miniature golf at Papa-K’s Pizza, fishing, hunting, shopping, restaurants, cinemas, sightseeing, swimming, boating, Bellaire Beach Club, canoe & boat rentals, driving range, solar light disc golf, nature areas and more. Day care located within a few steps of the condo.
Golf Galore: Area golf courses include: The Legend (designed by Arnold Palmer), Cedar River (designed by Tom Weizkopf), Schuss, Summit, The Chief, Hawk’s Eye, The Bear (designed by Jack Nicholas), The Farm, and Bellaire. Enjoy the Fall Colors by taking a guided horseback riding tour, a family hayride, or a tour of the many wineries in either Traverse City or Leelanau. Enjoy a day excursion to Torch Lake, Petoskey, Mackinac Island, Alden, Charlevoix, or the many other beautiful local towns. Non smoking condo. No Pets, please.
