About David Robinette
We first visited Nova Scotia in 2001 and fell in love with the area, people and food. The pristine landscapes and panoramic ocean views are magnificent and just the thing we need for a relaxing vacation. Our children have made many friends with the kids their own age and enjoy visiting them every summer. Coming to Yarmouth is one of our most treasured family spots and we hope to continue to do so for many years to come.
David Robinette purchased this house in 2005
Why David Robinette chose Yarmouth
One reason we love Yarmouth is because it's like taking a step back in time to the small southern towns we grew up in during the 60's. The townsfolk are so welcoming that you feel right at home while there. The local seafood is to die for...fresh lobster, clams and scallops are just a few of the varieties available. Another reason we love Nova Scotia is the milder summer temperatures to be enjoyed rather than the hot southern heat and high humidity we are used to experiencing.
What makes this house unique
As we walk into our house, we feel just like 'we are home!' It's home'y' atmosphere welcomes us back year after year. Taking walks along the harbour, riding bikes through the town, walking downtown for breakfast, sitting on the upper floor watching the birds & boats & dolphins, having a lobster cookout on the deck, or just reading or napping on the veranda are some of our most favorite things to do while here. It is definitely a place to come for a time-to-unwind from our busy life in the states.
Guestbook comments from the owner
We had a great time in Atlantic Canada and enjoyed our stay at your fine house in Yarmouth.
I do have a couple of friends that will be visiting Nova Scotia next year and would like to refer them to you.
