Honey Hickory Kitchen: The Honey Hickory Kitchen is fully equipped with hickory cabinets, a Maytag double oven gas range, a built-in Bosch dishwasher, and a Frigidaire side by side refrigerator / freezer with an ice maker and a cold water dispenser. It also includes a small microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster and a complete set of cooking utensils, dishes, flatware, water and wine glasses, everything you need to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, a quick lunch or a complete meal on those days you choose to eat in.

Butterscotch & Wild Plum: A beautifully crafted Mountain Ash Bar separates the kitchen from the main living room, where you can relax on our soooo-comfortable Butterscotch Leather Armchair or our Wild Plum Leather Sofa next to the flickering glow from the Hearthstone Fireplace, watch satellite TV or a DVD with surround sound, listen to CD Stereo, or stay connected to the Internet on wireless broadband. Red Pottery Barn stools provide addition seating at the bar.

Keyless Entry and Private Workshop: Windsong Cabin features a simple keyless entry system which takes away all worries about losing your key while you are away enjoying the great outdoors. We also include a private detached garage to store your outdoor sports gear. It is equipped with work benches and doubles as a workshop for those repair jobs that always seem to be needed at the most inopportune time.

Windsong Cabin is secluded on 8 wooded acres off Bonnie View Road in the town of Wilmington and is surrounded by a 6,000 acre state forest preserve. This 3-bedroom home is located 6 easy miles from Whiteface Mountain, the 5th highest of the 46 High Peaks at 4,867 feet, and the legendary Whiteface Mountain Olympic Ski Resort. A scenic drive of 16 miles along the banks of the West Branch of the AuSable River brings you to the village of Lake Placid, site of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics and now a four season vacation favorite.

A 50% down payment is required to confirm your reservation. The balance, plus tax and any security deposit or dog fee is due two weeks prior to your arrival.
A $200 refundable damage deposit is required, but may be waived if you elect to pay Windsong Cabin directly via credit card.
Fees And Taxes 3% Essex County Occupancy Tax
Windsong Cabin is Dog-Friendly; however, we do require a onetime $50 fee to account for the usual cleaning requirements associated with dogs.
Your dog must be registered with Windsong Cabin prior to your arrival, we need to know the breed of your dog and the name that it answers to.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (USD) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Clock radios / CD players are also provided. Bear cubs Den was designed with children in mind. It features two double bunk beds, always a kid's favorite, which comfortably sleeps 4 and includes a small board game table and a DVD Player. Storage is provided in wheeled bins which can conveniently be rolled under the bunks. A Pack'N'Play is also available. Please note that the upper bunks are too close to the ceiling for adults.

Great Location! Great Vacation!

My wife and I stayed at the Windsong Cabin for almost two weeks and there are not enough good things that I can say about the experience. We were in the area for Ironman Lake Placid and I could not have asked for a more comfortable and restful location. We were close to town and area attractions but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet.

The cabin was clean and the kitchen well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc. (In the past we have stayed in other cabins and had to go out and purchase proper cooking supplies.) The bedrooms were clean, comfortable and cozy.

Both my wife and I would highly recommend the Windsong Cabin to future Ironman competitors or anyone who is just looking to get away.

Perfect vacation cabin

Bunch of us stayed at the cabin and went ice climbing and snowboarding. It was just minutes away from everything we wanted to do. Cabin is decorated tastefully with all the comforts of home. We all enjoyed our stay at the cabin and highly recommend to anyone that's planning a visit to the area. We are looking forward to coming back to the cabin next ski season.

Windsong Cabin ski vacation

Our family of 4 stayed at windsong cabin for a ski vacation at Whiteface mtn. We found the cabin to be very comfortable and cozy, less than 10 min to mountain, and only 15min to Lake Placid. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with towels. The kitchen was well appointed with updated appliances with plenty of dishes, etc. We would highly recommend this rental.

Great time in the Adirondacks

The Windsong Cabin is gorgeous. It is very well maintained and just beautiful on the inside, it really gives you the cabin feel but has everything that you would ever need. The pictures on the website really don't do it justice. It has a great feel with the fireplace and the open living room kitchen area, and it's very comfortable. Not to mention the owners will do anything that they can for you to make your stay better. The location is great to you are only about a 15 to 20 min drive away from everything. We had a great time and would do it again in a heartbeat.

We all had a holiday of a lifetime, great location, great local people. We really enjoyed Wilmington, neighbouring towns particularly Lake Placid. We got change to ski at the beautiful resort of Whiteface Mountain. The facilities in the cabin were superb, the little touches like the Christmas tree made it all the more cosy. We intend to return for another vacation Christmas and New Year 2011.
