Be our guest in the private first floor apartment at Mission Manor, an enchanting Edwardian period building, perfectly situated in San Francisco’s lively Mission Dolores neighborhood. This luxury apartment offers both period details and modern comforts. Kick off your shoes and unwind. Wrap yourself in the plush Turkish-cotton spa robe. Check your email using the free Wi-Fi. Pull a good book from the library shelves. Enjoy a classical music CD or a movie from our DVD library.

Exhale. Relax. You're home.

In your bedroom, you'll have the best sleep of your life on our California King memory foam pillow-top mattress, with 500 thread count Egyptian-cotton sheets.

The kitchen features all high-end appliances, including a full size, French-door refrigerator with generous freezer space and ice maker; bar sink, full size dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker with pods, and electric kettle. Cupboards are stocked with dishes, glassware, flatware, and utensils.

The European style split bath features a shower and sink in one room and toilet & sink in another. The bath is supplied with large cotton bath towels, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and a hairdryer.

Mission Manor is ideally located in the Mission Dolores, the 'Sunbelt' of San Francisco, in between San Francisco's exciting and colorful Castro District and the friendly Noe Valley neighborhood. With a Walk Score of 95 and a Transit Score of 99, Mission Manor ranks as both Walker’s Paradise and Rider’s Paradise on walkscore.com. You are just steps away from beautiful Dolores Park, Mission Dolores Church, and many of the city’s best restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.

The Mission is also a Foodie’s Paradise! Stroll around the block to discover the legendary fresh bread and pastries at Tartine Bakery. Enjoy lunch at Dolores Park Café. For dinner, dine at the famous Delfina restaurant or at Delfina’s charming pizzeria next door. Walk another block to the Valencia Corridor to experience countless fine restaurants and ethnic eateries. En route home, stop for some of the city’s best ice cream at the Bi-Rite Creamery.

All the traditional city attractions are easily accessible from Mission Manor via public transit. Within two or three blocks, you can take a street car, BART, Muni, bus or Zip Car to explore the city and visit well known San Francisco destinations: Union Square, the Ferry Building, Fishermen’s Wharf, AT&T Baseball Park, and Moscone Center. Intersect with San Francisco’s historic cable car lines to head over to Nob Hill or Chinatown. Ride a bike or Segway through Golden Gate Park. Wonder at the exhibits at the Academy of Science or cross the esplanade to the DeYoung Museum, where the building itself is also a work of art. Rest for tea in the tranquility of the Japanese Tea Garden next to the museum. You don't need a car at Mission Manor; in fact we advise against it. If you do bring a car, parking garages are available nearby.

Additional Amenities include: Free Wi-Fi, flat screen HD-TV with Comcast cable, Blu-Ray DVD player, and clock radio/CD player in the bedroom. Enjoy DVDs from our small movie library and CDs from our classical music library. Convenient public transportation.

Fantastic experience and great location

  • 5 of 5

Mission Manor is surrounded by fantastic cafes and restaurants, easy to find, and close to a parking garage. It's clean, welcoming, and a great place to spend a long weekend (or year)!

Warm and welcoming

  • 5 of 5

As the other reviewers have noted, Mission Manor is in the heart of the Mission District -- the center of trendy restaurants and shops and only an 8-minute walk from BART. And Bi-Rite, SF's legendary grocery, is literally around the corner. Susan is a wonderful host. When we arrived, there was a plate of delicious cookies and a bowl of tangerines on the coffee table to welcome us. The living room is bright and cheery, and the king-size bed quite comfortable. In the refrigerator were a selection of yogurts, milk and cream, and cans of V-8. Also in the kitchen are a selection of cold cereal and coffee for the Keurig. We couldn't recommend it more highly.

Bel endroit bien situé à SFO

  • 5 of 5

We loved Mission Manor. The apartment was beautiful, clean and charming, Susan was attentive and extremely helpful. The area was safe, fun and very convenient. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the entire experience was top rate. Our security deposit was immediately returned. I recommend this apartment wholeheartedly.

We were originally concerned about the BART, which is only a few minutes walk away and the area looked a bit sketchy. However, we soon felt safe and used the BART almost exclusively, even late into the night. We always felt safe anywhere near the apartment, and the immediate area is replete with great restaurants, shops and shoppes.

We are an older couple (early 70's) who enjoy our comforts and convenience. This apartment was perfect.

Cute apartment in Mission Area

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this cute little apartment in the Mission area for a few nights in October. The apartment was very clean and gave us more room to spread out than a hotel room as it had a small kitchen as well as a living area to relax. As we have rental property ourselves, we always like to rent from other owners when we travel away from our home and this little apartment is well run and nice. The manager and owner are very helpful and involved and provide so much detailed information and ideas that will help to make vacationing easy. The quick breakfast items and coffee were appreciated as was the comfy bed and extra blankets. There is noise from the upstairs apartment and the garage below as mentioned in other reviews, but the other guests tried to be considerate of us most of the time during our stay (thanks to encouragement by the manager and owner). We would recommend this apartment to others without question.

Everything is Great

  • 5 of 5

Mission Manor was a perfect location to go anywhere easily in San Francisco. You can enjoy walking around in Mission and Castro and easily reach to Downtown, Chinatown, Fisherman's warf and other part of the city through trains and buses. Those stations are so close to the apartment. Lots of restaturants, supermarkets, grocery stores are also nearby. The apartment is really beautifully decorated, clean, safe and spacious enough for two. The owner was very responsive and helpful for our entire stay. Her breakfast was really a great one. We hope to stay again someday.
