Renovated historic cottage on one acre lot two blocks from Satilla River in downtown Woodbine. Just 2 minutes off I-95 half-way between Brunswick, GA and Jacksonville, FL.-- centrally located within 30-40 minutes of Amelia Island Florida, St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Cumberland Island National Seashore, Okefenokee Swamp, Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base, and historic St. Marys, GA. Wander around sightseeing in the area and come home to the "Best Last Small Town" to relax at the end of your day. Just a block away, you can enjoy a nature walk on Woodbine's boardwalk (a part of Georgia's rails to trails network). Continue your walk and watch breathtaking sunsets from the adjoining riverwalk. Woodbine is a bird sanctuary and part of the coastal bird watching system. A variety of music venues are available in town each weekend.

Our 1930's home has 10 foot ceilings and spacious living areas. Most of the house has original wood floors which make it pet friendly for your well-behaved best friend. Two large bedrooms are located downstairs with private bathrooms and one bedroom suite upstairs. The bathrooms have walk-in showers but no bathtubs. Relax on screen porch or old brick patio overlooking a large private yard. Large living room, dining room, sun room, laundry room, and fully equipped kitchen are located downstairs. Two central A/C and Heating units for your comfort with gas fireplaces in LR and Master BR. Parking for boat or RV is available. Two blocks from downtown boat ramp. Gorgeous 15 mile boat ride down the Satilla River to ICW and Cumberland Island and Atlantic Ocean.

Please no smoking inside-- (okay on front porch or back screen porch)

Well behaved pets are welcome- you are responsible if any damages occur.

Woodbine is the Best Last Small Town.

We have enjoyed our stay here although the weather this spring has been very cold here The spring flowers have been fabulous and brightened up our days
The pictures of the house are right on It would be nice to have had a TV in the main livingroom as the upstairs feels like a private suite.The house was clean and is well taken care of
We enjoyed Cap't Stan's Smokehouse , The grand Opery friday and Sat nights in Woodbine and the Corner Cafe in Kingsland There isn't much shopping in Woodbine but Kingsland and Brunswick are not far away for all your shoping needs One of my favorite shops is the Dead Peoples Stuff a great place to find that missing Depression glass plate you are missing in any colour
We did most of our own cooking here because of diet and found the kitchen well stocked
Our 2 dogs enjoyed the walks in the neighborhood as well as the large yard. We had lots or parking for a boat and trailer as well as 2 cars Lots of rivers,creeks and of course the ocean for fishing.
This house is located for day trips to Jekyll Island , Jacksonville Fl, Amelia island and Cumberland Island.
It is only 2 1/2 hrs to Daytona for Bike week.

The home is beautiful and very tastefully furnished. The yard is even more beautiful. It is spacious and landscaped wonderfully. I wish it belonged to me.
The owners are very gracious and helpful with tips for attractions in the area. Wonderful folks.
The home is less than an hour's drive from Jeckyl Island, Harris Neck Wildlife Area, Cumberland Island, Altamaha Wildlife Area, and the Okefenokee National Wildlife Area ...if you're interested in that sort of thing.

OMG...Wonderful!

My friends I had the best time. The house is just as described, a true treasure. Met Libby and Mike and they were just as personable as the place and could not have been more helpful. My friend brought her little dog and they left a doggie bowl full of water for him when he arrived. The little details like this really set the tone for a wonderful time. The showers were good too. The only complaint if it really is one, is the furniture downstairs could be as comfortable (lounging) as the upstairs, but at least if you wanted your own separate space you could easily find your nook somewhere:)

My only hope is everybody who visits treats it with the care so others can enjoy it for years to come.
