Come in & enjoy our spacious, apartment-within-a-home in a Prime Location at the corner of Lake Bl & Price St. The house overlooks the bluff & is a Quick Walk Down To Silver Beach or into town for ice cream, dining and shopping. We are just one block from the local library, Curious Kids Museum & Krasl Art Center. Silver Beach is rated as one of Parent's Magazines Top Ten Family Beaches in the U.S. This apartment has its own outside entrance & has been completely remodeled & decorated. We offer 2 bedrooms, one with a queen four-poster bed & the other with two twin beds. A sun room with original stained glass affords a cozy retreat. The living room provides ample seating with large television and DVD player. The bathroom features tiled floor, new vanity and fixtures and full size shower and tub. The remodeled kitchen has new appliances, warm maple cabinets and granite-like counter. Washer and Dryer in the unit and a shiny red wagon to haul your 'stuff'' and kids to the beach!

Additional information about rental rates

  • Booking NOW for Fall just $750 per week. Fall weekend rates available.
  • $900/week. 50% deposit to secure your reservation. Personal check or money order only. 50% balance with $75 cleaning fee and $200 damage deposit due no less than 30 days prior to arrival. Damage deposit refunded or shredded within 7 days of departure subject to any charges for damages, excessive cleaning or late check outs. Weekly rentals from Sunday to Sunday. Cancellation Policy: After January 15th reservations are considered final and you are responsible for any remaining fees. However, we will do our best to rent your week and if we are successful we will return your fees minus 10%.

As a family that has rented beach cottages for many years we have done all we can to ensure that the accommodation is fully equipped and that your week is fun, easy and comfortable. All You Need to Bring Are Your Beachtowels/Beach Chairs. Amenities: TV/DVD Player, Air Conditioner, ceiling fans, new dishwasher, stove, microwave, toaster oven and Washer/Dryer. Propane gas grill, attached garage. All cooking utensils and kitchen supplies provided, all linens included (except beach towels). Double-bed air mattress is also available for extra guests. Activities: St. Joe and vicinity has it All! Swimming! Sunsets! Beautiful, wide, clean beaches. Volleyball, people watching, kayak rentals, biking, fishing, hiking, golfing, sailing, trolley and carriage rides. Walk to dining, shopping, museums, cafes, bakeries and ice cream parlors. Walking/running/bike trail just steps away.

Many other attractions along the coast of Michigan! Free bike rentals in town, open air concerts, and more! Area: Summer and fall festivals including: Fourth of July concert and fireworks, Krasl Art Fair, Venetian Festival, Chalk on the Block, Antiques On The Bluff (first Sunday of the month), Farmer's Market (every Saturday), outdoor Jazz Concerts, Tri-State Regatta & Sailing Festival. Boat owners can launch and slip their boats locally at two launches and three marinas. Wine tasting at the local wineries.

We stayed at the Blue Spruce in August. The place is very comfortable, quaint and clean. We will definatly stay there again. It is an easy walk to the beach from the house and very close to downtown. St. Joe is a nice town and family friendly. Dealing with Sandy was easy too. You will enjoy your stay there!

Our family of four (including 2 young boys) had a great stay. The home was updated, clean, and comfortable. The home was within an easy walk of town and the beach. Laundry facilities on the property were clean and easily accessible. The owner was readily available to answer our questions prior to our arrival as well as during our stay. We have outgrown this home now, but would have liked to have made it our regular home to return to every summer. I would recommend this home to my friends and family.

This spacious apartment was a great combination of inviting, homey, classy, and eclectic. The garage and extra parking spot were very convenient, it's less than 5 min. to walk to Silver beach, and you can walk to just about anything else you need. We would definitely stay at Blue Spruce Haven again and recommend it to others!

This is a great location to experience everything St Joseph has to offer: from the beaches, to the river, to the trails, bike paths, restaurants, shops, just park your car in the garage and visit the Krazl Art Center, "antiques on the Bluff, free music, just use your feet.

Comfortable lodging with two bedrooms and kitchen, bath, sunroom and air-condtioning. Garage with play equipment and a laundry room to refresh your families wardrobe.

We spent two weeks here getting to know St Joseph during the Art Fair Week and the special festival on the beach with carnival, music, food and fireworks. The neighborhoods are friendly and the owners check on you to see if you are well.

Check it out if you want a pressure free week in a beach community, that has much culture and quaint homes.

We travel to St. Joe every year to visit family, Blue Spruce Haven was an excellent rental. It’s in great shape, has plenty or room (family of 5) and is in a wonderful location allowing us to walk downtown and to the beach. The lake was cold this year, Mary and I didn’t swim in it but the kids loved it.
